Our stay at Casa Calma was all we hoped it would be. A big part of booking this particular villa was the heated pool and that was a big hit especially as it was so well maintained during our stay. Any small problems that arose were quickly and efficiently dealt with by the excellent management team. The villa was lovely and peaceful and very relaxing and very well equipped. On the whole we had a really lovely holiday there.Read more
Nice villa with good pool.Heated pool required maintenance a couple of times but did not effect us in any way.It was a bit of atrial down to the resort ,although manageable. If there was any critism any one renting with toddlers the villa would benefit with a strair gate. Good bar "El Tonel"around the corner which provided excellent take away pizza. There is also a cash & carry within 10 mins .Read more
5 male group age 28-34 from Lincolnshire. Very clean spacious. Pool is smart. Excellent water pressure for decent showers. Cheap taxi rides to bars and restaurants. Walk up the volcanoe for a nice view! Also went to the abandoned hotel, lighthouse and fishing trip at next town along. Area is nice don't really see any of the neighbours. Nice to be away from all the noise. Speaker on full blast and sat by pool all day.Read more
Villa was lovely & spacious, inside & out. Plenty of room for our party of five couples enjoying a holiday for a “special” birthday. Pool & outside seating area was lovely, we made good use of the Hot Tub and enjoyed a lovely BBQ. The on site contact (Amanda) was very helpful as was the maintenance man when we misplaced a key (sorry). Bedrooms & Bathrooms were nice, one minor point would be that the third bathroom (not en suite or jacuzzi bath) was lacking a towel rail but other than that, great place, excellent value and would highly recommend. We had a great holiday.Read more

A lovely villa in a quiet area with a nice pool and outdoor seating area. Not too far to walk down to the main resort although it is a good 15-20min walk and there's nothing but a main road and wasteland on the walk down until you get nearer the resort centre-a taxi for 4 Euros is a must as it would be far too dark and lonely to walk up at night. The whole family loved the villa and my only disappointment was that there was no shop within easy walking distance for necessities like water etc. All the food shopping had to be bought at either the Eurostar or HiperDino in town.Read more
Villas in Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca, meaning 'white beach', is Lanzarote's newest resort, southwest of the island in the Yaiza district and 30 minutes from Arrecife Airport. A quieter region than some of its neighbours, it's a peaceful and sophisticated town with a picturesque marina, a scattering of cocktail bars, upscale restaurants, a relaxed, authentic atmosphere and vast stretches of white sand coastline. If you're looking for a sun-drenched Canarian escape to enjoy with family, then this laid-back side of Lanzarote is for you.
Staying in one of our villas in Playa Blanca gives you easy access to the fantastic selection of beaches; the most central being the Blue Flag winner, Playa Blanca itself. Sheltered behind a long seafront promenade, it stands out for its white sand and crystal-clear aquamarine waters with plenty of amenities for a fun family day out by the coast. A few minutes to the west, laze the day away from the busy crowds on the much quieter Playa Flamingo beach, and if water sports are what you're after, Playa Dorada is a perfect option, with a 10-minute walk to the east of the town's centre. Perhaps the most well-known and arguably the most stunning of all Playa Blanca's beaches are the Papagayo coves, around 20 minutes away. The network of fine white sandy beaches separated by high cliffs, form a number of beautiful sheltered bays, making Papagayo’s sunbathing spots some of the best in Lanzarote.
A stroll down the promenade provides spectacular ocean views across Lobos island and Fuerteventura. But Playa Blanca is more than just beaches; there is plenty to do and see for all ages, from boat excursions and island-hopping trips, to cultural attractions such as the 18th Century Castillo de las Coloradas. The island's largest wine-making region La Geria is less than 30 minutes away, where you can sample the delicious local Malvasia wine. If you’re looking for somewhere to let your hair down after sundown, the neighbouring resorts of Puerto del Carmen or Costa Teguise are a perfect option.
