Had a very nice week there despite the rain on a few days. Still nice to sit out either under cover or in the sun. Very handy for the Spa supermarket and a short walk to some decent returaunts. A bit longer to the main harbour which was great and we did this every moning. Pool was warm enough to swim in whatever the weather and comunications with host were first class.

4th time staying in this villa as it’s like a home from home in the sun with a lovely pool in a great location near shops, bars and restaurants. And only a few minutes walk from town and promenade. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality comfortable accommodation in a great location.

4 bedroom Villa Aurelia

We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children, aged between 2 and 13. The villa was a pretty perfect fit for us, spacious and well planned. The pool was extremely popular with the children, and they also made good use of the table football, football goal and table tennis. The BBQ area was excellent and also well used. Importantly the pool area was well sheltered from the wind. Flamingo beach was within easy walking distance. All in all Villa Aurelia was perfect for our family group, and the staff at the Agency were always available and helpful. We would definitely return here.

3 bedroom Luxury 3 Bedroom Villa

The location of the villa is very good. Although some modifications have been made the bedrooms looked tired. There is a terrible smell of sewage in the downstairs bathroom and we were greeted most mornings by cockroaches so there appears to be an issue there. We stopped using that bathroom. The kitchen had no cupboard space for our food which was a bit odd. Also a few nice wine glasses wouldn’t go amiss. Overall a good place for families.

Playa Blanca, meaning 'white beach', is Lanzarote's newest resort, southwest of the island in the Yaiza district and 30 minutes from Arrecife Airport. A quieter region than some of its neighbours, it's a peaceful and sophisticated town with a picturesque marina, a scattering of cocktail bars, upscale restaurants, a relaxed, authentic atmosphere and vast stretches of white sand coastline. If you're looking for a sun-drenched Canarian escape to enjoy with family, then this laid-back side of Lanzarote is for you.

Staying in one of our villas in Playa Blanca gives you easy access to the fantastic selection of beaches; the most central being the Blue Flag winner, Playa Blanca itself. Sheltered behind a long seafront promenade, it stands out for its white sand and crystal-clear aquamarine waters with plenty of amenities for a fun family day out by the coast. A few minutes to the west, laze the day away from the busy crowds on the much quieter Playa Flamingo beach, and if water sports are what you're after, Playa Dorada is a perfect option, with a 10-minute walk to the east of the town's centre. Perhaps the most well-known and arguably the most stunning of all Playa Blanca's beaches are the Papagayo coves, around 20 minutes away. The network of fine white sandy beaches separated by high cliffs, form a number of beautiful sheltered bays, making Papagayo’s sunbathing spots some of the best in Lanzarote.

A stroll down the promenade provides spectacular ocean views across Lobos island and Fuerteventura. But Playa Blanca is more than just beaches; there is plenty to do and see for all ages, from boat excursions and island-hopping trips, to cultural attractions such as the 18th Century Castillo de las Coloradas. The island's largest wine-making region La Geria is less than 30 minutes away, where you can sample the delicious local Malvasia wine. If you’re looking for somewhere to let your hair down after sundown, the neighbouring resorts of Puerto del Carmen or Costa Teguise are a perfect option.
