Hi, we are from the UK and have lived in Mallorca for 15 years, as my husband has a Mallorcan family originally from Valdemossa. We moved to Alaró as we love the village - it has one of the prettiest village squares, lots of lively bars and restaurants and fantastic hiking and cycling. It’s a great location for both visiting Palma and the north and west coast beaches. Having spent eight years renovating the finca in Alaró we now rent it out full time, as both our children have left home and we have moved to the north. I have visited the island for 41 years - as my parents lived there for more than 20 years - and love the place. In the past two years I have turned an old ruin into a very comfortable and liveable house, and Can Vaqueret is the result. Ca'n Armat is owned by Paul and Marjorie, of North London. We bought the finca about 15 years ago as an escape from London, and we tend to be there in the spring and autumn. We looked for a property that was in the country - for peace and quiet - and that was near to Santa Gertrudis that is, in our view, the best village in Ibiza. We also wanted an original ibiza finca, since we preferred an authentic Ibiza experience to a more sterile, square white modern villa. The finca had already been modernised when we bought it, so we have focused on restoring the extensive gardens that had been originally been designed by a famous landscape gardener, but had become neglected. It was so overgrown we didn't know we had a fishpond until some time after we bought it! The one thing we under-estimated when we bought it, was the amount of effort it takes to maintain the original dry stone walls that surround the property. They regularly fall down and need to be rebuilt, which is an expensive skill. But we feel we are custodians of an historic 300-year old ibiza finca, and it deserves to be kept in original and beautiful condition

We have experience with tourist vacation villas; for over 25 years many customers have enjoyed our villa in Pollença (Mallorca). During all these years we have been improving and modernizing the villa.

Dedicated to Holidays rentals since 2007,when the pool was finally built, all life being dedicated to tourist industry, as well knowing that without improvement and good quality to satisfy our costumers, there is no way to stay in the market, now trying with this site, but as well I have my own channel sales.
