Apartment of 82 m2 with 2 bedrooms (one en suite with double bed, one with two beds), 2 bathrooms, living room with cable TV, fully equipped kitchen (combined, oven, vitro hob, microwave, Dishwasher and linen), private secure secure parking with table and chairs and a fantastic view from the 3rd floor to the seafront, the beach, the sea and the river Arade.
This apartment is duly legalized and licensed by the Portuguese Tourism Institute with registration number 24121 / AL, as you can see on the RNAL (National Registry of Local Accommodation) page.
A 5-minute drive to the nearest golf course (Alto Golf & Country Club).
Restaurants, bars, shops, markets, clubs, shops, taxis, casino, marina, souvenir shops, pharmacy, just a step away.
Bed linen and bath towels are provided and changed once a week.
Praia da Rocha, is a superb beach next to Portimão which is the second largest city on the Algarve.
It became a tourist centre at the end of the 19th century, when it was the favored summer resort of families from southern Portugal and Andalusia; and in the winter with English visitors.
Praia da Rocha is ideal for anyone who wants to be close to a fantastic beach, have plenty of places to wine and dine or party until late.
The avenue Tomás Cabreira, which runs along the top of the beach, is full of restaurants, cafes, and shops and is particularly lively at night with a variety of bars and clubs to choose from.
At the end of the avenue is the Fortress of Santa Catarina, which was part of Portimão's coastal defenses against corsairs and pirates. It was built in the 17th and 18th centuries and gives a wonderful view of the beach and the cliffs on one side and the marina on the other. The Hotel da Bela Vista with its Belle Époque architecture dates from this time and stands out amongst the modern buildings along the beach front.
There is also a casino along the avenue that hosts a show every night, with dinner and dancing if you like, apart from the opportunity to have a flutter on the tables.
There are over 20 golf courses and 2 water parks within a 30 minute drive and a wide spectrum of water sports including jet skis, fishing, water skiing, paragliding, wind surfing and much more in Praia da Rocha itself . Boat trips to the caves, fishing trips and dolphin watching can be booked at the beach.
Praia da Rocha is popular all year around and it is lovely to see people of all ages enjoying the Winter sunshine, taking a stroll, relaxing on a bench or enjoying a drink at one of the many esplanades.
