Built in 2022, Villa MariVital was designed for comfort, privacy, and relaxed stays, with a private pool, bright interiors, and easy access to beaches, Old Town, and amenities. My name is Ken Paterson married to Yvonne. I worked in financial services as the Compliance and Risk Director for a major national Independent Financial Adviser, but retired in December 2019. Yvonne was an office manager with an estate agent, previously with a major high street bank, IBM and self employed as a bridal seamstress, but now also retired. We bought our first apartment at Villa Rosal in Sao Raphael near Albufeira 21 years ago. We rented it out but sold after 3 years as it did not give us the peace and quiet we wanted for our own holiday. We bought a new villa in 2009 near Ferreiras, but moved on again in 2020 to our current villa, which we live in for 9 / 10 months of the year. We handle holiday rental enquiries for our own villa. We also handle enquiries for some villas and apartments that are managed by the local Villa Management Company, Albuera Domus, which is based in Albufeira. All our villas and apartments are in the "luxury" category, and located in very quiet, upmarket areas. If like us you want peace and quiet but close to everything then our properties are what you are looking for.

I love travelling and I try do it as much as I have the opportunity, like taking photos, also love cooking and baking. I am a graduated nurse and public health professional, especially interested in active lifestyle and healthy eating.

Born and raised in the Algarve, I've studied in Lisbon and Barcelona where I got a communication degree and a documentary master degree respectively, in between I went round the world for 12 months backpacking, an experience that still echoes today. Love to travel and love to welcome guests to my hometown and make sure their stay is the best. Welcome!
