Situated on the exclusive complex of Windmill Hill this duplex holiday apartment provides a peaceful away from it all holiday, within 10 mins (on foot) of the vibrant resort centre and 20 mins from the new marina This well equipped apartment offers all you could want from a self catering holiday. The private complex boasts a communal pool surrounded by palm trees, two tennis courts, a snack bar and 24hr reception desk with currency exchange. Windmill Hill is designed in a low rise "moorish" theme with lovely cobbled roads and paths which blend beautifully into the local area. There is a well stocked shop within 5 minutes to supply all your needs.

Description of Apartment
Beautifully designed and decorated duplex apartment of 120sq m. With Kitchen and all facilities, dining area and lounge downstairs, with 1 double sofa bed and single bed plus outside patio area with barbeque (on request) and furniture. There is also a safe in the apartment.
Upstairs Bathroom with Bath, Bidet and Shower. Balcony with views out to sea and furniture. Large Bedroom with 2 large single beds (pushed together) and view over Albufeira. The Property has Free WI-FI and AIR CONDITIONING

Whilst it is a busy cosmopolitan resort, Albufeira retains its original "fishing village" charm. In particular the historic old town with its winding cobbled streets has a certain ambience and the main square is just the place to sit and watch the world go by. The beaches of Albufeira are spectacular, clean and child friendly. The streets are lined with bars, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.

This was our second stay here. The house has been updated very well and the outside furniture replaced which was a real bonus.
The maid service however was very poor. We were there for ten days and they only came once to replace towels and empty the bins. We werent even left a new bag for the kitchen bin. No bed change the whole time or cleaning.
Facilities at house though were good and we had a lovely holiday.

The apartment was a lovely size and very open and airy. The facilities inside the apartment were excellent especially the toys and beach/pool toys for children.
We felt the outside furniture was well past its best - it was broken and very dirty.
The walk into town, whilst steep we found to be very pleasant. The same with the walk round to the marina.
The biggest problem we had was the noise. There was a nightclub in hearing range that went on until about 4.30 in the morning!! with loud music and equally loud voices. The cobbles around Windmill Hill made the traffic and drag along suitcases sound extremely loud, especially at 2 am!
Overall though, we had a great holiday. Thanks to Lesley for her help with arranging for everything to be prepared for our daughter and grand daughter to join us for our second week.

the complex is great for a relaxing break, and is close to the centre, the thing i liked moost is it is high up so had a good breeze which was great when around the pool.

found the booking site frustrating to use. but we booked very late so thanks to the owner for getting me out of a hole and taking the late booking. will def be back :)

Very Nice comfortable and well equipped duplex in a quiet area and on a very well run estate. Very good supermarket and restaurants within walking distance . Lots of bars and restaurants in Old Town area. Easy to walk to and cheap taxi back .

We have stayed at this apartment twice now, it is a lovely, spacious, comfy apartment. I

Kitchen is well equipped, you can easily cook a full meal if you wish. For eating out there are lots of lovely restaraunts in old town and some good bars, its just 10 minutes walk down the hill to the old town. The hill coming back up is steep but great excersise ! There are a few routes to & from the old town, some a bit less direct but less steep.

We dont have kids but the apartment has lots of games, books & bits & bobs to keep kids entertained. Along with T.V & DVD player.

The pool area is lovely with its hliltop setting & has a great view down to the old town & beach.

Correspondence with the both the owner & the agency who look after the apartment is easy & straightforward. they will answer any of your questions thoroughly & promptly.

We hope to return here for a 3rd time in the next couple of years :)

From the first communication with the owners, we knew we were in good hands as nothing was too much trouble. The website cannot do justice to just how beautiful Windmill Hill is and how comfortable and clean the apartment was. The grounds and apartment are well maintained by the friendly staff and the local residents make you feel very welcome. The complex is very child friendly and our six and four year oldshad the time of their lives and were never bored, they also improved their swimming way beyond our expectations in the fantastic pool. We would have no hesitation in recommending this as a suitable family holiday.Stephen, Melanie, Matthew & Emma
