A peaceful stone-built two-bedroom villa inside Zakynthos Marine Park, two kilometres from Laganas beach — sleeps six, pet-friendly, private parking, fully fenced garden.
A warm welcome awaits you at Harmony Villa. We have been welcoming guests to Zakynthos since 2009, and the villa is designed for the holiday you actually want: slow mornings, long dinners on the patio, and a host on hand if anything is needed.
The villa sits in Mouzaki, a quiet residential village on the southern side of the island, within the boundaries of Zakynthos National Marine Park. The surrounding area is the traditional Zakynthos — stone houses, cypress trees, olive groves, and fields facing the central mountain range of Vrachionas. It is peaceful, well away from the main roads, but close to everything practical: a supermarket, bakery, tavernas, pharmacy, ATMs and a taxi rank are all within a short walk. A bus stop at the end of the street runs directly to Laganas beach and town centre.
Built in 2009 in traditional local stone, the villa blends naturally with its surroundings while offering the comforts of a modern home. The interior is spacious and open-plan, crowned by a high vaulted wood-panelled ceiling and walls of exposed stone. Double-glazed windows keep the rooms genuinely quiet, and air conditioning (hot and cold) runs through every main room. High-security French bifold windows are fitted with shutters and mosquito blinds throughout.
The bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and wall-to-wall wardrobes. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and a drawer cabinet — ideal for children or friends travelling together. The double sofa-bed in the living room comfortably accommodates two extra adults or children, bringing the total to six.
The kitchen and living area. Open-plan and fully fitted, with refrigerator, ceramic hob, conventional oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee-maker; all crockery, glassware and cutlery provided. The living room is airy and spacious, with a 43-inch HDTV with satellite channels and an LG sound system with aux-in for your own music.
The bathroom. A modern fully-tiled shower room with an enclosed cubicle, hairdryer, and a reliable supply of hot water at all times.
Outside. The west-facing private patio is the heart of the villa in summer — furnished for alfresco dining, with a BBQ, and framed by a fully fenced garden. It faces directly into the setting sun, which is where the sunsets really earn their reputation. Private parking is directly outside, with space for two cars or up to four scooters/motorbikes. Also inside the villa: washing machine, iron and ironing board, safe, and fast Wi-Fi (line speed up to 100 Mbps) throughout. Fresh linen and towels are provided.
Laganas itself is two kilometres away — a lively summer resort with restaurants, bars and nightlife for those who want it, yet far enough that evenings at the villa stay quiet. Zakynthos Town, with its waterfront promenade, Saint Dionysios Church and the ferry port for Kyllini on the mainland, is a six-minute drive. The airport is closer still, but the villa sits well away from the flight path.
Worth a short drive: Gerakas Beach (14 km) inside the Marine Park’s protected zone, widely considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece; Kalamaki Beach (3.5 km) for quieter family swimming; boat trips to the Blue Caves and Navagio (Shipwreck) Beach from Porto Vromi; the Keri Caves to the south; Askos Stone Park in the north; and the inland wine villages of Maries, Agios Leon and Volimes for a slower day of tastings and traditional tavernas.
Along with traditional Greek hospitality, we work hard to make your stay an easy, restorative one. We live on the island and are a call or message away throughout — happy to share recommendations: the quiet coves, the honest tavernas, the best time of day to visit the Marine Park.
