Masia Mas Pigot

Masia Mas Pigot is a handsome country retreat that feels as though it’s been part of the landscape for centuries. Tucked among rolling vineyards with distant views of Montserrat’s jagged silhouette, this 100-year-old masia has been lovingly restored into a bright, characterful home sleeping up to twenty-two guests across eight spacious bedrooms. As you step through the arched doorway, terracotta floors, whitewashed walls and rustic timber beams set a warm, authentic tone.

The main house features a grand dining room with a shimmering chandelier and space for up to seventeen guests, alongside a traditional-style kitchen with modern appliances. There’s a relaxed lounge upstairs with inviting sofas, and a day room for board games, books, or an extra dinner setting. The separate annex adds extra privacy, complete with its own lounge, fireplace and patio access.

Outside, life centres around the generous swimming pool with a retractable cover, ideal for sunny afternoons and starlit swims. The shaded dining terrace and large garden offer space for relaxed lunches, outdoor play and evening barbecues. Though it feels deliciously remote, you’re just five minutes from the heart of Penedès wine country, thirty minutes from Sitges, and under an hour from the buzz of Barcelona. 

Nestled in peaceful countryside just beyond the vineyards of Penedès, Masia Mas Pigot offers rural charm without sacrificing convenience. The surrounding area is a patchwork of vines, olive groves and sunlit hills, with quiet tracks ideal for walking or cycling. Just a five-minute drive brings you into the heart of the Penedès region, home to the iconic Torres vineyards and numerous cava producers offering tastings and tours.

The towns of Vilafranca del Penedès and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia are nearby, filled with bustling markets, tapas bars, and beautiful modernist buildings. Just thirty minutes away, the coast beckons with the golden beaches of Sitges and Vilanova, where restaurants spill onto palm-lined promenades.

If you’re craving culture, Barcelona is less than an hour by car, close enough for a day trip to explore Gaudí’s masterpieces or take in the energy of the city before retreating back to the peace and stillness of your private masia.

Security deposit
€1,000 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Other Ts and Cs
Cots (cribs) available at a charge of €25 / item, payable locally. High chair available at a charge of €15 / item, payable locally.

Changeover day
Flexible.

End of stay cleaning
No. €300, payable with the balance payment. This is for a standard changeover clean. Guests should be respectful of the property and leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Smoking Allowed?
No, smoking and vaping are not permitted.

Minimum stay
7 nights in peak season. 3, 4 or 5 nights at other times.

Heating costs included?
Between the middle of October to the middle of April there is an extra charge of €300 for heating, payable locally. Please enquire for more information.

Pool heating charge?
For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €280 per week (minimum charge, after this pro rata). This extra is only available on request, and with prior arrangement before arrival. Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.

Tax
Tourist Tax is payable locally in cash, typically costing between €1 - €10 per adult per night. Please enquire if the exact amount is required.
