Villa Olympia – Private Sea-View Retreat near Rethymno

Villa Olympia is an elegant traditional Cretan villa in Agia Triada, set within a peaceful private olive grove just a short drive from Rethymno. Surrounded by nature and offering sensational panoramic views across Platanes Bay and the Cretan Sea, the villa is ideal for families, couples or groups of friends seeking privacy, tranquillity and comfort.

The property accommodates up to six guests and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private swimming pool, spacious terraces and a beautifully landscaped 1,800-square-metre garden with approximately 20 mature olive trees.

The Space

Built from natural stone in the traditional Cretan style, Villa Olympia offers approximately 100 square metres of comfortable living space arranged across two floors.

The ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living and dining area, one bedroom and the larger of the two bathrooms, featuring a spacious walk-in shower. A washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing facilities are also available.

Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms, one of which can also be used as an office or workspace. This floor also includes a second bathroom with a shower and access to a large private terrace with beautiful views.

The villa has a private entrance, air conditioning in every room and central underfloor heating, making it suitable for stays throughout the year.

Bedrooms and Entertainment

The villa offers three separate bedrooms and a total of four beds, comfortably accommodating up to six guests.

Each bedroom is equipped with a television and access to Amazon Fire TV or Apple TV. The living room also features a flat-screen television with satellite reception, Greek channels, Amazon Fire TV with Netflix access, a CD player and an Apple HomePod.

A dedicated workspace with a printer and video equipment is available for guests who may need to work during their stay.

The pool can be heated during the cooler spring and autumn months for an additional charge. Advance notice is required.

The extensive private garden offers a variety of peaceful seating areas, allowing guests to enjoy the sunshine, relax in the shade or admire the sunrise and sunset over Platanes Bay.

A spacious terrace in front of the villa includes a comfortable outdoor lounge and dining area, which flows naturally into the garden.

There is also a dedicated outdoor barbecue area with a grill, worktop and sink, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals outside.

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive access to the entire villa, private swimming pool, terraces, garden and parking area. No facilities are shared with other guests.

Arrival is simple and contactless. The key is stored securely in a key safe, and detailed arrival instructions will be provided before check-in.

Important Information

In accordance with Greek short-term rental and tax regulations, the passport or national identity document number of the principal guest must be provided before arrival.

Pool heating is available during selected periods for an additional charge and must be requested in advance.
