Cabardès is our smallest gîte, but it has everything two people need for a comfortable stay — ideal for a couple or two friends who want a calm base in the peaceful Lauragais countryside, between Toulouse and Carcassonne.
Inside you’ll find a large, bright bedroom and a separate shower room. The main living space is a comfortable open-plan kitchen / dining / sitting area, designed for easy holiday living — cook simply, eat together, then settle in with a book or a glass of local wine. The living area opens straight out onto the main lawn and pool area, with your own small private terrace — perfect for morning coffee, relaxed lunches, or a quiet aperitif as the sun goes down.
If you’re travelling as friends, the bedroom can be configured as a super-king double or twin beds (just let us know your preference).
Across the shared grounds you’ll also have access to our heated outdoor pool (11m x 5m), a children’s play area (slides, sunken trampoline, swings and more), table tennis/table football, and lots of open space to unwind.
For UK guests, arrival is straightforward: we’re about 15 minutes from the A61 and around 45 minutes from both Toulouse and Carcassonne airports — easy for a fly-and-drive.
Days out are simple and varied: lake days (Saint-Ferréol, Ganguise and more), slow exploring along the Canal du Midi, brilliant markets like Revel and Mirepoix, and Cathar history with Carcassonne a must.
