Casa Mumu is truly beautiful. The house is set in the heart of nature, with wonderful opportunities for walking and cycling right from your doorstep, as well as visiting charming old Italian villages.
The house is fully equipped with every comfort, staying cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Around the inviting pool and on the surrounding lawns, you can sit or lie back and peacefully read a book. Inside, there are three bedrooms—two downstairs and one upstairs—and two separate bathrooms. Each floor has its own access through the garden, offering privacy and flexibility.
Casa Mumu is located along a quiet white gravel road, used only by walkers, e-bikers, and deer. The surroundings are breathtaking: green, rolling hills with the distant outline of the Apennines on the horizon. In the evenings, you can hear owls calling, and during summer nights, fireflies light up the darkness.
An olive grove surrounds the house; the trees are still growing and will soon produce liters of olive oil. From Casa Mumu, you can spend hours exploring on foot or by bike, visiting nearby old medieval villages. Just a five-minute drive away lies Castelletto d'Erro, home to a simple local restaurant. Five minutes in the other direction brings you to Bistagno, where you’ll find bakeries, good restaurants, butchers, and greengrocers. And just at the bottom hill is the pizzeria ‘La Coccinella’, with the best pizzas of Italy…
A little further afield, about 15 minutes by car, is the beautiful spa town of Acqui Terme, known for its excellent restaurants, shops and markets. The area around Acqui Terme is famous for its renowned wine regions, producing Brachetto d'Acqui and Dolcetto d'Acqui. Many wineries warmly welcome visitors for tastings. The region is also celebrated for its prized white truffle, found only in autumn—and it is whispered that around Casa Mumu, beneath the oak trees, these mysterious delicacies may also be discovered.
