Masseria Magnifica

Masseria Magnifica is a restored 18th-century estate tucked away in the peaceful village of Gemini, just minutes from Ugento and 7 km from the dazzling beaches of Salento, known as the "Maldives of Italy." At once rustic and refined, the villa blends traditional Apulian architecture with sleek, contemporary interiors and wellness-focused design. The heart of the home is the central open-plan living space, where vaulted ceilings, stone floors, and artisanal furnishings set a warm, elegant tone. It features a fully equipped kitchen, large dining table for twelve, a fireplace, and a private cinema room for relaxed evenings in.

The villa offers five spacious suites, each with a private bathroom and air conditioning. One of the suites doubles as a stylish home office, while the master boasts an 800kg carved stone bathtub.

Outside, a lush garden surrounds a natural stone pool with waterfall and open-air shower. There's also a traditional-style pergola for alfresco dining, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, and a 300 sqm panoramic rooftop terrace ideal for sunbathing, yoga, or evening cocktails under the stars. Masseria Magnifica is not just a villa, it’s a soulful retreat where thoughtful design meets authentic southern Italian charm.

Set in the quiet village of Gemini, Masseria Magnifica offers the best of both worlds: tranquillity and easy access to some of Salento's top destinations. Just 2 km away is the historic town of Ugento, known for its ancient ruins, charming piazzas, and excellent local restaurants. A short 10-minute drive brings you to the Maldives of Salento, a string of white-sand beaches lapped by crystal-clear waters on the Ionian coast.

The villa is also within easy reach of other Puglian highlights, including Gallipoli (30 minutes), Santa Maria di Leuca (35 minutes), and Lecce (50 minutes). Whether you're in the mood for quiet countryside walks or coastal adventures, this location delivers a well-rounded Apulian experience.

Security deposit
€1500 charged to client's credit card by Oliver’s Travels as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Changeover day
Saturday in June, July and August. Flexible during all other periods.

End of stay cleaning
Extra €250, payable locally in cash. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
