Villa Truquile

As the gravel path winds to a stop outside Villa Truquile, it’s the view that catches you first, layered hills rolling into the horizon, with the distant silhouettes of the Sibillini Mountains. This 19th-century farmhouse has been lovingly restored, its weathered brick and wooden beams softened by a serene interior of pale stone, soft linens and terracotta tiles underfoot. It’s a home that feels both rooted and relaxed, where modern comforts sit gently beside the whispers of the past.

Step into the vaulted living room and the light spills from high windows across cream sofas and handwoven rugs. The kitchen is warm and well-equipped, centred around a sociable island that invites you to slow down and cook together. With four spacious bedrooms spread over three floors and three bathrooms, there’s a quiet corner for everyone.

Outside, the terraces invite unhurried afternoons and golden hour dinners. One side of the house captures the sunset, while the poolside terrace frames the valley, perfect for long barbecues under the pergola. The 12-metre pool glimmers beneath parasols and old trees. Just an hour from the Adriatic coast and a short drive from Mogliano, Villa Truquile is a gentle place to gather, to breathe, and to feel in step with the land.

Villa Truquile sits in the tranquil hills near Mogliano, a charming village in Le Marche where tradition runs deep and the scenery is pure Italian poetry. Surrounded by sunflower fields, olive groves and vineyards, this is a region that rewards slow travel. Mogliano offers local shops, bakeries and a weekly market, along with small trattorias serving seasonal dishes. Further afield, you’ll find the artistic town of Macerata and the hilltop drama of Fermo, both within easy reach. For a day at the beach, the Adriatic coast is just under an hour away, with sandy stretches and clear waters ideal for swimming. Nature lovers can explore the Sibillini Mountains with their hiking trails and dramatic vistas. This part of Le Marche remains blissfully uncrowded, where small hill towns offer ancient churches, artisan workshops and genuine hospitality at every turn.

Security deposit
€800 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded after departure, subject to full security inspection.

End of stay cleaning available?
No. €150, payable locally. This is for a standard changeover clean. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
