On the edge of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Maison Bijou offers a relaxed and simple holiday abode within a holiday residence just moments from the artistic heartbeat of the town. Set across a single storey, this mazet has been thoughtfully designed for easy, sociable living, with an airy open-plan layout, soft neutral tones and its own lovely terrace.

With space for up to 6 guests, Maison Bijou is fully air-conditioned and well suited to a family or a small group of friends wishing to be close to Saint-Rémy. A generous central living space features a modern kitchen and lounge area, while three bedrooms provide flexibility for different needs. The main double bedroom enjoys its own open-plan bathroom whilst two further bedrooms, including one with bunk-style doubles beds, share a stylish family bathroom.

Outside, the terrace is a lovely spot for a morning read, a glass of local rosé or meals beside the plancha. The little pool (2x3m) is just right for splashing around or cooling off your feet after a long day exploring. Guests can also enjoy seasonal access to the shared swimming pool and boules court within the holiday residence.

Just 900 metres from the historic centre of Saint-Rémy, guests can walk or cycle into town for dinner beneath the stars, artisan shopping or simply to soak up the Provençal atmosphere. Encircled by ancient plane trees and elegant shuttered façades, Saint-Rémy hums with a rich tapestry of history and artistic legacy - none more so than Van Gogh, who created many of his famed works in this very setting. The town also serves as a scenic gateway to the captivating landscapes of Les Alpilles.

The jagged limestone ridges of Les Alpilles rise just beyond the town, offering a haven for outdoor pursuits including walking, cycling and leisurely drives. The hillsides are awash with olive groves, pine trees and vineyards, while well-marked trails reveal sweeping vistas, peaceful chapels and shaded forest paths. Whether exploring by foot or e-bike, the natural splendour of the region is simply irresistible.

Scattered across the surrounding hills are villages full of character. End of stay cleaning
Standard changeover clean and mid-stay cleaning are included in the price. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

In additional to the private pool, there is a shared pool on the grounds is open from approximately April to October.

Insurance
Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
