We instantly fell in love with the location. It’s just a 10-minute drive from the vibrant City of Carcassonne, yet feels like it’s miles away from everything. The village of Aragon, one of France's prettiest, offers two bars and a fantastic restaurant. Having lived in the area for 20 years, we chose it for its stunning natural beauty and diversity. It’s ideally situated between the Mediterranean, the Black Mountains, the Pyrenees, and the Costa Brava, and lies within one of France’s most renowned wine regions. The local restaurants offer incredible, value-for-money meals. We treasure the tranquility and natural surroundings – it’s the perfect retreat from the daily grind. From the house, the views stretch across the valley and mountains, and at night, the only sounds are cicadas and owls. Stargazing from the hot tub is a magical experience, and the views from the infinity pool are simply breathtaking.
