This two bedroom apartment in this beautifully renovated old stone plantation house. Surrounded by rolling fields of sugar cane, and lush jungle gorge filled with monkeys and parakeets.
The beautifully restored two bedroom apartment is situated within a solid stone plantation house (16 inch walls). With polished wood floors and countertops, new appliances, and windows (with screens). The constant breeze means that we don't have mosquitos, and guests enjoy dining out on their private covered decks most evenings, watching the fireflies flutter in the fields, and bats swooping above them.
We have a barefoot luxury/ country atmosphere. There are 4 other separate apartments in the restored house - all with expansive ocean views of the west coast. Surrounded by rolling fields of sugar cane to the south and west, and a lush jungle filled gorge to the north and east. Constant sea breezes cool the entire house, making the available air conditioning unnecessary.
The house is located in an old plantation yard, with stone ruins of mill and stables mixed in with modern large 40'x 20' salt water pool, and shared poolside covered dining deck . All apartments have private covered dining decks as well, and all with sea views. There is laundry room with washer and dryer available for weekly use.
Located in the village of Four Hill, we are a 7 minute drive to the beaches, restaurants, and shops in Speightstown are located close to all the attractions - The Barbados Nature Reserve, North point, Bathsheba, St. Nicholas Abby, as well as Royal Westmoreland golf course, and Apes Hill. A rental car is recommended.
