Demeter Cave House is a beautifully restored, heritage cave home designed just for two. Hidden behind thick whitewashed walls in the quiet village of Pyrgos, it offers something rare: luxury, privacy, and stillness.
Inside, you’ll find soft curves, vaulted ceilings, and handpicked design touches that feel both authentic and refined. There’s an airy domed living area, a compact kitchenette, a super-comfy double bedroom, and a cave-style bathroom with a luxurious couples’ rain shower. Step outside into your private courtyard with a heated jacuzzi, or climb up to the panoramic roof terrace for sweeping views over Pyrgos and out to the Aegean Sea.
And though the famous caldera is only a five-minute drive away, many of our guests prefer to stay right here—sipping wine at sunset above the rooftops, watching church bells chime, and letting the quiet charm of Pyrgos unfold at its own gentle pace.
