In the heart of a characterful village in Les Alpilles, Villa Belle Saison captures the spirit of Provençal life with effortless charm. Just a minute’s stroll from the bakery, restaurants and pavement cafes of Mouriès, this beautifully restored village house invites families and friends to gather in a warm and welcoming setting, where contemporary comfort meets timeless tradition.

Behind its traditional façade on a tree-lined road lies this holiday abode set across three floors, seamlessly blending old-world character with modern convenience. The ground floor opens onto a spacious living area, where a modern open-plan kitchen and charming dining space offer an inviting hub for relaxed socialising. Doors lead out to the walled garden with a pretty pergola, shady trees and terrace for al-fresco dining by the plancha. Wander to the end of the garden to discover the gated swimming pool, a wonderful addition to this village house.

Upstairs, five thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, three with air-conditioning, comfortably sleep up to ten guests. The first-floor master bedroom has its own dressing area and en suite shower room whilst the other four bedrooms (two on each floor) share two bathrooms. There’s an air of charm and simplicity across the bedrooms with features such as painted wood beams, tiled flooring and pretty windows whilst the bathrooms are fresh and modern.  

Mouriès itself is a jewel in the Alpilles crown, relaxing yet vibrant, known for its olive oil traditions and Provençal authenticity. Stroll to the village square for your morning coffee, explore the weekly market, or set off for a round of golf at nearby Servanes. The house is also ideally located for exploring the region’s most treasured sights, from the hilltop village of Les Baux-de-Provence to the artistic streets of Saint-Rémy and the Roman heritage of Arles.

Whether gathering for sunny meals on the terrace or setting out to discover the landscapes that inspired Van Gogh, Villa Belle Saison offers a stay where every moment feels delightfully unhurried.This handsome village house with its own garden and swimming pool is in the heart of Mouriès, a quintessential Provençal village in Les Alpilles Natural Regional Park, famed for its traditional houses and surrounding olive groves. Located on the village’s main tree-lined road (with public parking a short walk away), it’s just a few minutes’ stroll to the local bakery, restaurants and shops. Meander through the village’s characterful streets, enjoy a café crème beneath the shade of plane trees or explore the weekly market brimming with local produce, artisan wares and olive oil - Mouriès lies at the heart of France’s oldest olive-growing region.

Hiking and cycling trails weave through pine forests, olive groves and rocky ridges, revealing panoramic views at every turn. For a deeper cultural immersion, the Carrières de Lumières near Les Baux offers a mesmerising digital art experience inside a former quarry, while vineyard visits and olive mill tours provide a delicious taste of Provençal terroir.

A short journey north brings you to the vibrant town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (16km), home to Roman ruins and the former asylum of Vincent van Gogh. To the west, the UNESCO-listed town of Arles (25km) opens the door to the Camargue, a wild landscape of marshes, flamingos, and white horses – ideal for a day of discovery and adventure.

Please note that all extras are subject to availability and must be requested in advance of the holiday and at least one month before you arrival (prices on request). Due to some rural/remote locations, not all services will be available at all properties. However, we will always do our best to fulfil your requests!

Security deposit
€2,000 charged to client's credit card by Oliver’s Travels as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.

All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.

The reduced rate for 6 people includes the 3 air-conditioned rooms: 1 on the 1st floor and 2 on the 2nd floor.

Changeover day
Saturday. All other changeover days on request.

End of stay cleaning
Included. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted.

4 nights. All other durations on request.
