At Les Volets Bleus, outdoor living is a way of life. The heated pool, framed by sun loungers, olive trees and lavender, offers endless relaxation. Surrounded by fields and farmland so typical of this part of Provence, a short drive takes you to a traditional village with an épicerie, small supermarket, restaurant and bar. Continue a little further to the charming canals and world-renowned antique markets of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, where you can browse treasures and savour Provençal delicacies at pretty cafés, around 15 minutes by car.

In the other direction, venture to the Luberon’s rolling landscapes, where picturesque villages like Gordes and Roussillon invite exploration. Discover lavender fields, vineyards, and scenic hiking trails, immersing yourself in the timeless beauty of Provence.

Les Volets Bleues enjoys a countryside setting surrounded by typical Provençal landscapes of fields, vines and farmland, only a short drive from the charm of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

The nearest village is just a 5-minute drive away, home to an épicierie, restaurant-bar and small supermarket whilst there are larger supermarkets and other useful amenities in and around Cavaillon, Caumont-sur-Durance and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

Whether you seek relaxation, culture, or adventure, this idyllic location places you within easy reach of some of Provence’s most captivating destinations. Firstly, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (9km) enchants visitors with its picturesque canals, antique markets, and vibrant café culture. Known as the ‘Venice of Provence,’ this charming town is a haven for art lovers and collectors, offering an array of galleries and antique shops set against the tranquil flow of the Sorgue River.

To the south, Cavaillon (5.5km) invites you to experience its lively Provençal atmosphere. Famous for its sweet summer melons, this market town boasts a rich history, from its Roman arch to the impressive Saint-Véran Cathedral. Active travellers will enjoy hiking up the Saint-Jacques hill, where panoramic views stretch over the rooftops and surrounding countryside.

For those who dream of exploring the Luberon, the region’s rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and endless orchards, forests and vineyards are simply breathtaking. Wander through timeless hilltop villages like Gordes (18km) and Roussillon (28km), where honey-coloured stone and ochre cliffs glow in the Provençal light. A little further afield, artistic Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (26km) and hilltop Eygalières (20km) promise a taste of authentic Provençal charm. Meanwhile, the cultural treasures of Avignon (22km), with its grand Palais des Papes and medieval bridge, both UNESCO World Heritage sites, offer a fascinating glimpse into France’s rich past.

Please note that all extras are subject to availability and must be requested in advance of the holiday (prices on request). Due to some rural/remote locations, not all services will be available at all properties. However, we will always do our best to fulfil your requests!

Security deposit
€3,000 charged to client's credit card by Oliver’s Travels as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning
Extra €350, payable locally. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
