Just a short stroll from the heart of picturesque Maussane-les-Alpilles, Maison Marcella is an ideal base for a holiday in Provence. The village is surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Les Alpilles, less than half an hour from artistic Arles.

This air-conditioned holiday abode, designed with contemporary amenities and attractive furnishings, welcomes up to 6 guests across its inviting interiors. The salon is spacious and comfortable with its sofas, books and TV with international channels whilst the open-plan kitchen-diner has everything you need to enjoy al-fresco meals beneath the pergola (next to the gas barbecue and plancha).

There are two good-sized bedrooms with queen-size doubles, a third smaller double bedroom, a fantastic modern bathroom and two shower rooms. Ascend to the rooftop terrace, where a little stone pool awaits. Here, you can refresh in its cooling waters while taking in glorious vistas around you.

Maison Marcella could suit a couple wishing to experience authentic life near a Provençal village or a small family with older children hoping to make the most of the outdoor activities across this region. Indeed, Maussane-les-Alpilles and its surroundings offer a wealth of experiences to enrich your stay. Maison Marcella is located in a residential quarter just off the road connecting Maussane-les-Alpilles and neighbouring Paradou, only a short stroll from the village centre.

Surrounded by rolling olive groves and framed by the dramatic peaks of Les Alpilles, this sun-drenched village is the ideal destination for those seeking a slower pace of life. Its lively village square, shaded by ancient plane trees, invites you to linger over a morning coffee or savour a delicious meal at a traditional Provençal restaurant. The bustling Thursday morning market is also not to be missed – pick up a wealth of seasonal delights as well as extra virgin olive oil produced nearby, some of the finest in France.

Just a stone’s throw away, the tiny village of Paradou (2km) enchants visitors with its charming stone houses and welcoming atmosphere. Known for its gastronomic delights, Paradou is home to Le Bistrot du Paradou with its everchanging daily menu.

Les Baux-de-Provence (4km) is another highlight of the area, one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages’ with its perched medieval centre and old château with incredible views. Just outside the village lies Michelin starred Restaurant L'Oustau de Baumanière.

Meanwhile, Arles, with its impressive Roman amphitheatre and charming old town, serves as the gateway to the Camargue, a unique natural wonderland where you can encounter wild horses, pink flamingos, and sweeping salt marshes.

Security deposit
€2500 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning
Standard changeover clean included in the price. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Insurance
Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.

Minimum stay
7 nights - all other durations on request.

Pool heating charge?
No, extra €180 payable locally. Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
