The gite combines rustic features, such as honey-coloured stone walls, and original thirteenth century beams, with modern conveniences such as air-conditioning and fast wi-fi.
The hamlet is a haven of peace and tranquility, yet also has an amazing friendly and traditional bar/restaurant, just a 2 minute walk, where locals and tourists can gather for a pint of beer or guinness, a local Vin de Noix, a cool glass of rosé, or a meal.
The local village of Salignac Eyvigues is only a short distance where you can find a boulangerie, excellent boucherie, supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants.
The international centre of prehistory at Les Eyzies is within easy reach, as are both the Dordogne River and Vezere. The gite is also ideally located to visit Rocamadour in the Lot department, and Collonges-la-rouge in the Correze department.
