Vida Pura - Recycle Apartment. Relax in Nature

As the name suggests, the Recycle Art Apartment has been decorated and furnished with recycled and re-used materials, that have been designed into the apartment in artful way. The design of this wonderfully unique living space brings together a wealth of surprising materials. The bathroom has a sink made from an old wine press and the living tops it off with the sofa made from recycled jeans and in the kitchen a surfboard acts one of the kitchen shelves. There’s much more but best is to come and see it for yourself.

The living area contains a comfy, bespoke sofa made of re-used jeans situated near a cosy wood-burner. A tiny oven built into the stove means that, on a cold day, you could even make a fire and cook a cake, should the mood take you. The windows to the front of the apartment grant an amazing view of the valley and access to a beautiful wooden decking area (more than 30m²), complete with outside shower and plenty of space for lounging, sitting, or doing yoga.

On the other side we have a tiled outside area – for extra sun exposure in the morning and on windy days. Through this side you can also access your vehicle’s parking area, located just 30 meters away from the apartment, at the end of a wide, slate-paved path.

Electricity, water, gas, fire wood and super fast fibre internet are included in the price. The building has a centrally backed heating system and has its own woodburner

For guests with children we can provide cots for the bedroom. Younger children can sleep on the couch or on an extra bed in the living room.

Vida Pura is an eco-friendly & family friendly retreat in the middle of a reserve close to the town of Odeceixe and its marvellous beach. We offer various self-catering accommodation types each with a unique interior design. We are a facility centre for other retreat organisations and we aim to host health and well-being retreats. We have ongoing weekly activities, we organize workshops and much more. We have a farm based on bio-dynamic principles and quite a few animals; donkeys, dogs, cats, ducks & chickens. The nature of this project is communitarian and the profit is put towards local projects such as biological gardening in local schools.
