The apartment is located 30 miles west of Malaga Airport and 32 miles east of Gibraltar airport.
There is a fast direct bus service from Malaga Airport to Marbella Bus Station (4.9 miles away).
The area is very family orientated, being set in the heart of the upmarket area of Marbella known as Nueva Andalucia. Puerto Banus is a short drive, bus or taxi ride (2 miles). The nearest beach is 1.5 miles away. The largest main supermarket (Mercadona) is 1 mile.
Nearby shops include bank, hairdresser, optician, chemist, ironmonger, butcher, fruit and vegetables, mini market, bicycle hire, bus stop outside building and taxi rank in the next street.
Local things to do include a childrens playground (0.1 mile), a gym, pilates and yoga classes, 3 renowned Golf courses (Los Naranjos, Las Brisas and Aloha) and two 9 hole courses (Magna Marbella and Banus Executive). The nearest tennis courts are in Aloha (Tennis Brothers - 1.3 miles away). The nearest Padel tennis club is the 'Real Club Padel Marbella' (1.2 miles).
There are no trains in the area. There is a good fast direct bus between Malaga Airport and Marbella Bus Station and from there a taxi to the property (4.9 miles) which costs around 15 euros.
There is also a good local bus service (L4) to San Pedro de Alcantara and Puerto Banus (the latter links to Marbella). There is usually a plentiful supply of taxis in the area, ranging from the official white taxis (Taxisol +34 952774488 and pidetaxis.es via app) to Uber and Bolt.
The apartment itself has a terrace overlooking the main street of La Campana, communal pool, air-conditioning throughout, a good kitchen with everything you would need and expect at home.
There is a designated parking space in the secure underground garage available for free.
Most UK TV channels are available and free via streaming (including Netflix).
There is fast 5G internet (500mbps) from the fibre optic cable and a good WiFi connection.
Owing to having previously had occasional problems with younger guests making excessive noise in the apartment in the early hours of a morning, I now require that the age of the main renter is at least 30 years of age.
Renters of all the same gender are not allowed.
Quiet hours are from midnight until 8am, seven days a week.
