Helena Cottage is a lovely 2-bedroom detached cottage located in the picturesque village of Elie - see our video on this site. Located at the Earlsferry end of Elie, it is in a quiet location just off Links Rd next to the golf course. It is just a two minute walk from the award winning sandy beach and the well regarded 19th Hole Bar and Restaurant. It is an ideal holiday base for couples and families alike to enjoy Elie & all that Fife has to offer, and has multiple awards including Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence/Travellers Choice.

The cottage is fully double-glazed (EPC C), has free wifi, and comprises open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with extendable dining room table & chairs and wood flooring. The contemporary fitted kitchen includes a gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, and all the crockery/glasses and kitchenware you could need for your stay. The lounge is also very comfortable, with a 4-seater corner sofa bed (can sleep 2), wall mounted freeview tv w/Netflix, and dab radio.

Off the hallway is the king bedroom, through which you access the adjoining twin bedroom - both are well furnished, with comfortable king size bed and hairdryer in main double bedroom, and wall-mounted TV with built-in dvd player in the twin bedroom. Also off the hallway is the bathroom with excellent shower.

Patio doors open out to the small sheltered courtyard garden, with table and chairs for relaxing in the sun - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Elie's typically sunny weather. Laundry facilities are provided, with washer/dryer machine in the utility store, iron/board/hi-dri available and outdoor washing line. The property also has a travel cot and high-chair available on request.

The cottage is all on the ground level and located down a short gravely path, so offers a nice quiet stay, suitable for all ages. Dogs welcome by arrangement.

Elie has a lot to offer - golf, tennis, putting, library, bowling, bike hire, watersports centre, beach activities, coastal walks including the famous "chain walk" and of course there are a number of wonderful local restaurants, cafes and pubs. As well as nearby St Andrews which is only a 20 minute drive away. Elie is a perfect location for exploring the East Neuk of Fife.

Perfectly situated cottage in heart of Elie. 5 min walk to beach, pub couple of doors away but still very peaceful as cottage down a small lane from main road. Perfect sweet little cottage, quiet, comfortable, and very clean. Tucked away down a wee path, and just 5 mins walk to the beach. Very well equipped for our 3 day break. Highly recommended, will definitely be back to stay in the summer.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable property. Have stayed in Elie on numerous occasions and Helena Cottage is one of the best in terms of facilities and cosy comfort. Might be a little tight for a larger party but ideal for our needs. Brian was very helpful and responded to our queries timeously.
