Cottage overview

3 bedroom detached cottage 1 mile from the centre of the old market town of Llanrwst and 5 miles from the famous walking and hiking centre Betws y Coed.

Built in the early part of the 19th Century, the cottage still retains some of its original features such as the inglenook fireplace in the sitting room which now hosts the wood burner.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with the full range of appliances including a dishwasher and microwave and plenty of storage space for your food. Ample crockery is supplied for all your cooking requirements. If you do not wish to cook there are several takeaways in the town and of course a good number of pubs and restaurants serving food within easy reach

A separate dining room gives additional living space whilst offering the opportunity to relax over your meal.

Upstairs We sleep 5 in 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an ensuite shower room. One room is set out as a twin with full size single beds and the third room is a single, again with a full size single bed.

Outside is a good size mature garden with a terrace and summer house offering stunning views of the Snowdonia mountain ranges. The garden is enclosed and secluded.

Bryn Ffynnon is ideally situated for you to make the most of your holiday. Beaches and mountains are within easy reach, as are the famous castles and narrow gauge railways. For those who are more adventurously inclined there are any number of high adrenaline sports available as well as zip lines, water sports, cave exploration and much more.

We welcome mountain bikers and you are able to use the lockable garage for safe storage of any equipment.

We also welcome 2 dogs of any size and breed, free of charge. If you would like to bring more then please do ask as it is often possible.

Bryn Ffynnon
My name is Caroline and I’ve been running Bryn Ffynnon holiday cottage since 2015. My family hails from North Wales and I have fond memories of happy holidays playing on the beaches and in the rivers of North Wales. The castles too I remember as great fun. North Wales has come on a lot since then. Along with the natural attractions which are as good as they ever were, there are now a huge number of exciting outdoor attractions including high speed zip wires and lots of opportunities to go underground to explore old mine workings or to spend an afternoon trampolining in an old slate cavern. There are many places to eat and drink and Llanrwst has its own famous tea shop in Tu Hwnt I’r Bont, the iconic creeper covered house by the bridge that features in photographs all over the world. Bryn Ffynnon is ideally placed to explore all the wealth of North Wales and if the city really calls, then Chester makes a lovely day trip.
