All amenities, shops, bars and restaurants are a short walk away from the villa, which is located just a few hundred yards from the main marina in Cala d’Or, on a quiet side street.
Cala d’Or is today a smart and refined resort town; it is located about sixty kilometres east of the airport and Palma city.
Formerly, Cala d’Or was a traditional, small, Mallorca finishing village which has over the years expanded. The town is nestled alongside a series of coves, the largest of which is called Cala Llonga, which has been developed into a large marina which splits the city into two.
The town centre offers a pretty and vibrant pedestrianised shopping zone, with a good selection of eateries and bars.
The beach at Cala Gran is the largest in town; sun loungers, parasols and pedaloes can be hired at the beach. There are also ample other beaches in the region further afield which are worth exploring.
Water sports and beach life are very much central to Majorca.
