Playa Blanca is a remarkably popular tourist attraction that has grown from strength to strength over the last few years. One of the most prominent tourist attractions within this region is the Janubio Salt Flats, which can be found around 20-minutes away. These salt flats are the largest of the kind in the Canary Islands and were first formed in 1730 after the eruption of a monumental volcano. As such, this led to the creation of a range of natural walls around the local lagoon. Guests are free to explore this landmark in full, marvelling at the full spectrum of colours that is created through a variety of reflections. There is also a local shop on-site, meaning that guests can purchase some natural salt to use in their own cooking back at Lanzarote Sun.

Guests will also be paired alongside a talented instructor who will show them all of the sculptures over the course of 5 hours. The Museo Atlantico is situated just under 10-minutes away from the centre of the region.

Establishments such as Moving Segway Lanzarote offer a range of expansive tours, allowing guests to see an assortment of tourist hotspots from an entirely new perspective. Throughout your fascinating tour, you will have the chance to see a diverse selection of Papagayo beaches as well as the original site of the Indigenous people of Lanzarote’s past. Moving Segway Lanzarote is situated just under 10-minutes away and is suitable for guests aged 14 and older.
