The house was built by my grandpa in the 30's and revovated by my father in the 80's and again before 15 years. Since then we take care of it. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom and the bathroom. The garden is accessible through the main entrance and the kitchen door. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms one with a double the other with two single beds.

Fanes is 15 Km from the airport and 30 Km from the city of Rhodes. In the village you can find Mini Markets, Bakery, Butcher shop and a small cafe. About 800m from the house, just outside the village lies a Super Market and the Pharmacy.

The beach is on a walking distance (about 1,5 Km away). It's a wavy beach, ideal for kite surfing. There are kite surfing training centers and you can find Restaurants and a cute bar by the sea. The weather is almost always windy because of the microclimate on Fanes beach. The beach itself is about 40m width and 1 km long. The right wing is provided for the swimmers and the left one for kite surfers.

About 7 Km away there's the archaelogical site of ancient Kamiros. At 18 Km there is the Butterfly Valley of Rhodes.
The fact is that you can access every point and beach of the island in about 1 hour by car.
