The Cignella Estate, a stunning private resort located in the rolling hills of the Valdichiana, was originally built and used as a pig rearing farm over 200 years ago.
As agricultural needs changed, the farm fell into disrepair and the current owners, seeing its potential, wanted to share its wonderful location with the world and so they began working to convert the old farm into luxury accommodation for those looking to explore the hill top towns of Tuscany. A car is recommended when joining us at Cignella and all guests are offered private, designated parking. This is the signature property of Cignella Resort, with a beautiful double height high beamed
living room giving the house an extremely airy feel. In the summer it is full of light and a joy to
relax in. There is a lovely dining area, comfortable sofas around the television and DVD player as
well as an open plan well equipped kitchen with a long breakfast bar. Aquila has three bedrooms,
two en suite doubles on the ground floor and a twin bedroom and bathroom upstairs. There is a
generous garden with dining terrace and breathtaking views down to the lake and the valleys of
Cortona and Montepulciano
All Cignella villas offer wifi and are equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven, electric oven,
fridge-freezer, washing machine and everything else you would expect for a comfortable stay.
