Come winter or summer Laroque des Alberes is the most vibrant village of all the Alberes, do enjoy the lovely wine surrounding you. Walking is just out your door with a small river running round the back of the house. and further afield the pic Neolus and the various trails are waiting to be explored.
Skiing in the pyrenees between December and March allow 2.5-3h drive, so perfect for a cheeky day in the mountains. Collioure, is my pick of towns in the area, even though its busy in the summer (25mins). Cêret is the Picasso museum (25 mins) Figures, Spain (1h) the Dali museum.
So As you are already interested in this area, I promise you you will not be disappointed with the activities available in the house outside and further afield. It's lovely to come back to the oasis that my brother and I call Casa Baleares, we invite you to come and enjoy the lovely house that we have renovated for most of the past decade.
