Tenuta Corsari

Tenuta Corsari is a grand 19th-century villa, once owned by a local aristocratic family, now beautifully restored to preserve its original splendor while offering modern comforts. Set at the end of a sweeping gravel drive, the villa’s Italianate baroque façade is complemented by a tree-lined avenue and elegant wrought-iron gates.

Surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and pine, the villa provides a tranquil escape with a chic pool area shaded by trees and a serene patio with loungers and day-beds. The upper balcony offers stunning views of the open countryside and the Ionian shoreline, perfect for unwinding with a book or a glass of wine.

The villa accommodates up to ten guests in five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The interiors are a blend of original charm and contemporary luxury, featuring art-piece lighting, black-and-white photography, and sumptuous furnishings. High ceilings, marble floors, and antique banquettes create an elegant, welcoming atmosphere.

The bedrooms, with en-suite marble bathrooms and wrought-iron beds, offer peaceful retreats, while the views from the upper floor bedrooms extend to the Ionian Sea. The nearby beaches are just a five-minute drive away.

Located just 7 km from the historic town of Nardò, with its shops, bars, and restaurants, and within easy reach of other towns like Gallipoli, Lecce, Otranto, and Leuca, Tenuta Corsari offers an elegant and tranquil escape in one of Puglia's most beautiful regions.

Tenuta Corsari is located just outside Nardò, a historic town on the Ionian coast of Salento, with local amenities and the beach just a short drive away (2 km). Nardò, rich in Baroque history, offers beautiful streets, alleys, and stunning historic buildings, largely untouched by tourists. Nearby, Punta della Suina and Baia Verde are popular beaches, while the natural reserve of Porto Selvaggio and Torre Colimena, known for its flamingos, are also close by.

Salento, the southernmost part of Italy’s “heel,” is bordered by the Adriatic to the east and the Ionian to the west. Known for its Greek influences and colorful dialects, Salento is home to some of Italy’s most charming towns, such as Gallipoli, Otranto, Lecce, and Leuca.

With both rocky coastlines and long stretches of golden beaches, Salento is a paradise for sea lovers. From Leuca to Gallipoli, the coastline is lined with golden sands and azure waters. The Adriatic coast offers a more varied landscape, with sandy beaches, caves, cliffs, and saltwater lagoons. The region is also famous for its olive oil production, surrounded by olive groves and white-washed hill towns.

Security deposit
€500 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded upon departure, subject to full inspection.

Please note that published rates are only valid for the current year. Any bookings for subsequent years will be on request only and correct rates will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Please note that your booking will only be confirmed once we have checked availability with the owner or their property manager.

The pool is not fenced, so children should be supervised when outdoors.

Please note home security devices may be installed at the villa, please enquire for further information.

Changeover day
Saturday from July - end-August. Flexible during all other periods.

End of stay cleaning
Extra €200, payable locally. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Strictly no smoking inside the villa.

A cot is available on request at €150 per week
