The highlight of the property is its lagoon-shaped pool, complemented by a spacious patio with loungers and parasols—perfect for relaxed afternoons or evening aperitivos. Immaculately maintained lawns provide ample space for recreation, while a shaded dining veranda invites lively group meals.

Villa Cenate is perfectly positioned just outside Melissano, offering excellent road connections to Gallipoli in the north and Santa Maria di Leuca in the south.

Melissano (1.5km) is a charming town in southern Salento, known for its Byzantine-era historical center and renowned Puglian wines. It boasts excellent restaurants serving traditional cuisine in a picturesque old quarter. Nearby Taviano (4km) is famous for its olive groves, vineyards, and flower production, with a rich history and popular local dining spots.

The villa is just 8km from the Ionian coast. Torre Suda offers crystal-clear waters and a rocky shoreline, ideal for snorkelling and swimming. Further north, Baia Verde’s sandy beaches feature shallow waters perfect for families, as well as a vibrant nightlife scene. To the south, Marina di Pescoluse is often compared to the Maldives, with white sands and turquoise waters.

Across Salento, visitors can discover a mix of rocky coves and long sandy stretches, many with beach clubs offering sunbeds, parasols, and waterfront dining.

Gallipoli (17km) is a must-visit, with its historic sites, bustling market, and fantastic seafood restaurants. Lecce (55km) offers impressive baroque architecture, excellent shopping, and fascinating ruins. Other charming destinations include Specchia (22km), considered one of Italy’s prettiest towns, as well as the historic streets of Muro Leccese and Maglie, both around 30 minutes away.

End of stay cleaning available?
Extra €200 per stay, payable locally. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
