Casa Splendida is a beautifully renovated Sicilian home perched on the hillside above Cefalù with sweeping vistas of the Mediterranean. Carefully restored to retain its authentic charm while offering contemporary comforts, this villa provides a relaxed and refined backdrop for a wonderful stay in northern Sicily.

Inside, the inviting living space balances elegance with casual ease, styled in neutral tones that reflect the natural surroundings and help you feel immediately at home. Prepare leisurely breakfasts in the kitchen to enjoy with a sea view, relax in the lounge with its Smart TV with Chromecast then spend evenings on the shaded terrace as you prepare feasts by the barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven.

When it comes to sleep, there are four air-conditioned bedrooms to choose from. The main part of the villa features three double bedrooms with sea or garden views, whilst two adjacent modern shower rooms are perfectly positioned close by. The fourth bedroom is in a delightful guesthouse annexe situated in the garden with its own en suite and living area with kitchenette, perfect for making a morning espresso or light snack.

Outdoors, the heated swimming pool offers refreshing dips against a panoramic backdrop whilst the terraced gardens, with oleander, rosemary, olive trees and pines, draw you to hidden lookout points. Find a quiet spot, a good glass of Sicilian wine and soak up the stunning sea vistas.

It’s around a 15-minute drive down to the charming streets and glorious beach of historic Cefalù. Wander through its medieval centre, admire the iconic Norman cathedral, savour Sicilian cuisine and hike up La Rocca for spectacular coastal views.

Beyond the coast, the nearby Madonie Regional Natural Park offers a striking contrast of rugged mountain landscapes, fragrant forests and traditional villages waiting to be explored in this captivating region of Sicily.

On Sicily’s northern coast, Casa Splendida enjoys an elevated position above the historic town of Cefalù, offering breathtaking views across the Mediterranean. Just a 15-minute drive away, Cefalù enchants with its medieval centre, inviting shops, lively cafés, and the magnificent Norman cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town’s sandy beach and seafront promenade are perfect for relaxed strolls, swimming, and water sports such as paddleboarding.

Nature lovers can head inland to the Madonie Regional Park, where hiking trails weave through dramatic mountain landscapes, ancient forests, and timeless villages. Closer to the coast, the seaside hamlet of Sant’Ambrogio offers a laid-back atmosphere, while the colourful town of Santo Stefano di Camastra is renowned for its traditional ceramics.

Security deposit
€500 charged to client's credit card by Oliver’s Travels as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection and correct rubbish disposal.

4.00 p.m. Late check-in after 10.00 p.m. is on request only and subject to an additional hourly fee - please enquire.

Energy costs included?
Energy (excluding heating) is included up to 300 kWh per week. Consumption over this amount is payable by credit card locally at an approximate rate of €0.60 per kWh. See below for heating.

Changeover day
Saturday. All other changeover days on request (there may be some flexibility in low and mid season).

End of stay cleaning
Standard changeover clean included in the price. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Not allowed.

Minimum stay
7 nights. All other durations on request (there may be some flexibility in low and mid season).

Heating costs included?
No, extra cost based on consumption, payable locally. Please enquire.

Pool heating charge?
No. However, please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
