Master Craftsman Family Chalet! From the moment that you enter this 3-story, 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin, you’ll be delighted by its old -world craftsmanship and the well thought out and tasteful design. The main floor features an open and airy living, dining, and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings and a great westerly exposure. The kitchen features plenty of counterspace, accompanied by an island workstation and breakfast bar, and higher-end stainless appliances including a dishwasher. There’s also a dining table with seating for six, a living area with a comfy corner group, a large flatscreen monitor with Apple play, a freestanding wood fireplace (firewood provided), one bedroom with 1-king sized bed, and an ensuite full bath with a jetted tub…a wonderful stress reliever! Just outside is a large wraparound deck with a six- person hot tub and a gas grill. Stepping down to the lower floor reveals a sitting area with a foosball table and one bedroom with 1-twin over full sized bunk bed, a ¾ bath, and a utility room with a full -size washer and dryer. Ascending the staircase from the main floor to the top floor reveals one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed and a ¾ bath with dual sinks and an extra -large tiled shower. If you weren’t doing the math, that’s one bedroom and one bathroom on every floor…perfect for couples! This cabin is also equipped with Starlink (no wimpy WIFI here!), and a basic genset for those infrequent power outages. This WIFI equipped and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 7-persons. (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).
The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing and nature viewing. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!
