The cottage is deceptively large inside and has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The accommodation consists of a fully equipped Kitchen,downstairs toilet and cloakroom, large lounge and a conservatory/dining room . Upstairs there is a large king size bedroom, a single bedroom and a good sized bathroom. Outside there is a pretty garden to the rear with garden furniture, a decking area and patio area. To the front is a small garden.The cottage has parking for 2 cars at the end of the lane.
Suffolk has something for everyone, gorgeous countryside, a stunning coastline, amazing wildlife. It is full of historic villages and towns and also caters for foodies, writers, musicians and artists with its many festivals.
Suffolk is also full of many fantastic pubs serving local ales and ciders and serving fabulous food. Nearly all of the pubs I have visited seem to be Dog friendly too!
Our cottage is located in Friston, a small tranquil village with a Pub, ancient church,windmill and a village green. Ideally located in the Suffolk coastal area. A few minutes drive in every direction are some wonderful places to visit and make your holiday memorable, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings are all just a few minutes drive away.
Southwold is within a 25 minute drive as is Woodbridge, Rendlesham Forest ,Orford, Dunwich Heath and Minsmere bird reserve.
The old fishing town of Aldeburgh with its beach and fishing boats, cinema, theatre, interesting shops and fabulous choice of restaurants is just a short drive away, as is Snape Maltings which is surrounded by beautiful water ways with interesting gift shops, Antique centre, galleries, and the world famous concert hall.
