To start off, the villa is very spacious within a large banana plantation. It's perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. However, quite a few things detracted from the stay. The owner didn't contact us to check that everything was OK during our stay, no offer to change towels or sheets during a 2 week stay. The showers didn't drain properly so flooded the bathrooms if you don't have them on an extremely low pressure. There is a serious problem with ants in the kitchen, you only have to leave food for 15 minutes and it will be absolutely covered with ants, not to mention the bird poo that is scattered on the internal walls including the kitchen. The bbq is just a small freestanding bbq that spills ash and coals onto the floor as the bottom tray has been removed, with absolutely no bbq utensils for use. Silvia did help with a couple of enquiries we had over message but one time took 2 days to reply, which I would have hoped to be slightly quicker from a villa owner. I also had to let her know that a sprinkler kept setting itself off and spraying against the veranda ceiling but I didn't receive a response to this which is slightly unusual in my opinion. Prior to arrival we also had to upload all of our passport details to a portal which was quite time consuming and an inconvenience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't return to this property due to the points mentioned.
