We are a family of 8 spanning 3 generations and have just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at the Casa Margaret. The villa is large and comfortably furnished with everything you could possibly need for your stay, and more. It is on a large plot with a sizeable pool, built in BBQ and several outside furnished seating areas. The Owners, who were easily contactable, were very friendly and happy to meet any reasonable request we had. We would definitely recommend this Villa and will not hesitate to book it again should we decide on another large family holiday. Mike and Jenny Sullivan and family.

We had a lovely time at Casa Margaret. The villa is spacious, well laid out and has good facilities. We had a few teething problems which were beyond the owners control (an electrical fault) but they dealt with it efficiently and professionally and got it rectified in good time. Communication was excellent throughout. The pool is lovely and the grounds quite private. The area is lovely and there are some facilities a short walk away but down a steep hill. You do need a car to make this location effective. The area is lovely and parking at the Marina was easy and made accessing the town centre, bars and restaurants simple. We loved our time at Casa Margaret and will definitely be staying again. We stayed for 10 nights and didn't want to come home. The Smith Family!

Thank you to all The Smith Family for staying with us at Casa Margaret and for your top review. It gives us so much pleasure when you appreciate what we love about our villa and it’s location in Moraira - which is the best resort! What is good is that it suited your whole family. Do come again. I’m sure that there won’t be the same electrical issues. Thank you so much. Derek, Marie, Paul and Zoe

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Casa Margaret. The villa was ideally located for us but wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility or fitness issues if they didn't have access to a car. There is no wi-fi available however Derek was very helpful prior to us arriving and sent us a part as you go router. We ended up not using it but it would have been good if wi-fi was available. The fridge freezer has seen better days but it worked okay. The soap dispenser door in the dishwasher was broken which meant that the dishwasher wasn't doing a proper cycle and didn't clean everything properly. We had to hand wash the glasses prior to using them. The pool was great however didn't seem to filter very well which meant we had to try and pick up dead insects before we used the pool each day. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils available, the air conditioning worked well and the layout of the villa was nice. The garden furniture was more than ample, with plenty tables, chairs, sunbeds and umbrellas available in all areas of the garden. On arrival, the cleaner/caretaker had left some provisions, which was very thoughtful and a nice touch. The beds were made up, with plenty towels available for both showering and using on the sunbeds. The bedding and towels were changed weekly. I would recommend Casa Margaret as a lovely villa which would suit both couples and families.

Especial thanks for your rating of Casa Margaret and it's Moraira location. We do try to stress that a car is essential to get the most out of your holiday on this part of the Costa Blanca. The villa itself is all on one level, including the front patio and the rear orchard area. Just the 4 steps at the front and 3 steps up to the pool/BBQ. We have discussed the pool filter with our pool man. He believes that you may have noticed the insects because I asked him to change the timings, so that the pump was not on all afternoon while guests were using the pool. It comes on again later in the evening and partly overnight, but there is nothing wrong with the pump filtration itself. We appreciate your comments about the equipment both inside and outside the villa. I would say that the fridge-freezer is now due for replacement. The dishwasher is usually OK, although the water in Spain may affect the quality of the clean. The wash cycle is still working correctly, but last summer we found that the soap was not always dispensing, so I took off the cover and just put the tablets straight into the bottom of the wash compartment. Perhaps I should have told you of my cunning plan. Sorry! And I wash the wine glasses by hand. Overall, we hope that you enjoyed your stay enough to return next year. Please get in touch. Our best wishes, Derek and Marie

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Casa Maragaret. We are a family of 4 with twins age 9 and there was more than enough room for us. The villa was very well kept and had everything we needed, we used the bbq most nights and the pool kept the kids (and us) entertained for the whole holiday. The air conditioning was very welcomed as there was a heat wave towards the end of our holidays! We also loved to watch the sunset every evening on the front terrace, the is a beautiful view. Nothing was too far away from the villa it was very well situated, plenty of beaches, restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep. We did hire a car which is necessary so had lots of trips out to various beaches and to a water park. It’s also worth a trip Les Fonts del l’Algar which were beautiful. Thank you again Derek for a lovely stay we would love to come again in the future! Danielle & John Leeds

To hear how much you all enjoyed your stay with us is one of the best things about owning the villa. We think that Moraira and the surrounding area suits children of all ages. And as they get older they are able to enjoy the main two beaches safely and adventure away from the villa itself. We have grandchildren of 8 and 14 who are now kayaking and snorkeling. Soon the older one is hoping to go diving with her dad. You should come back again!! Thanks so much for your comments, Derek and Marie

Last year (2018) Very nice. Homely. Comfortable. Quiet. Everything you could need.

Thank you so much, Vicki, for taking the time to let us have your review of your stay at Casa Margaret. And for your kind comments. It is very much appreciated, especially as you know and love the area around Moraira, which we think is being constantly improved in sensible ways by the local council - including FREE parking in the central areas of town and the beach areas! Since your visit we have been busy at the villa and now have an additional 4th bedroom with bunk beds, so we could now accommodate any of your extended family perhaps and their friends with young children. We've also renewed the shower fittings in the bathrooms and replaced the fridge-freezer. We would love to hear from you again. Derek and Marie

We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday at Casa Margaret. The villa was lovely and the views from the terrace were amazing. Faye was very helpful and called to make sure everything was ok for us. The information and directions we received from Derek were very useful. The pool was fantastic and the pool guys called twice to check that everything was clean and working properly. The area was very quiet and local bars had irregular opening times. The local Mexican restaurant is excellent and good value for money. Moraira was a short drive or a 20 minute walk away from the villa and has beautiful beaches and some super places to eat. This was our first visit to Moraira but we will definitely return.

What a beautiful traditional Spanish villa. As a family of 6 we had plenty of space and the pool was a huge success with the children! Everything we needed was in the villa including beach towels and kitchen utensils. The views from the terrace were incredible and we would never get bored with sitting out watching the scenery change as the sun goes down. Excellent information and communication from Derek made everything simple and we were well looked after by Faye and the pool guys. Bars and shops not far from the door and a short drive into scenic Moraira gave a lovely village feel and the area is not over developed so you get the Spanish experience rather than the mass tourist effect. We had a great holiday and are already discussing going back next year!

What can I say! So glad you loved our villa and that you had a wonderful holiday in Moraira. We are biased, but believe that this is the best small resort on the Costa Blanc's, especially for families. Thank you, Ian.

I travelled to Moraira recently with my husband and two children and stayed at Casa Margaret. We absolutely loved our time at the villa. Check in and check out was fantastic, very simple and well taken care of by Faye. She had even brought us supplies - water, milk, juice, bread etc, which was very welcome as we arrived at night. The villa itself is beautiful. The view's from the front terrace out towards the mountains are superb and the pool area is spacious, clean and child friendly. The pool is large, deep and perfect for swimming. We spent many lazy days relaxing & sunbathing and no having to get up at 6am to reserve sunbeds! The decor inside the villa is rustic, which in my option adds to the charm of the place. It's very well equipped at the aircon keeps the rooms beautifully cool. It's only the third bedroom that doesn't have aircon but we didn't use that room anyway. The surrounding area is good - there are a handful of restaurants within walking distance, however, you need to be careful if walking in the dark as the roads leading up to the villa are not lit. We did need to use the torches on our phones. Moraira centre is less than a 5 minute drive away (or I expect around a 40 minute walk) and there are a choice of 3 supermarkets also within a few minutes drive. The bars and restaurants in Moraira are great, there's plenty of choice and the beach really is perfect. We also visited other areas - Calpe, Javea & Denia. I would recommend them all. Derek was brilliant and always answered any questions I had in advance quickly and thoroughly. Overall a fab holiday & fab villa! Thank you!

Well, my thanks to you for staying with us in the first place. And for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I think it says it all !! I will say it again, but Moraira is the best. Thanks again, Derek.

Although this is a beautiful villa, in a lovely location, we were constantly moaned at by the neighbour behind us for making noise! we wasn't throwing loud parties, or playing loud music. The lady behind us moaned about the noise of our children playing in the pool! she shouted constantly! which then made us take the children out for the day!! totally not the idea of renting your own villa! this is a huge shame as we loved the villa itself but would not return due to the surrounding neighbours

Hi Donna. I am so sorry that you had to put up with an intolerant neighbour. I don't know whether she was there temporarily or not. I believe that she was in the small apartment extension to a larger villa and in a previous year it was a young family there with a baby crying (quite a lot). Fortunately the beaches and Moraira town are close by car - but you shouldn't have to feel that you are not welcome. I am pleased that you loved the villa and the area. Don't be put off! My best wishes, Derek ps I will investigate further!!

We had a wedding to attend in El Portet so, with a car, the location was great. Although not far, it is not a particularly attractive or shady walk to Moraira and the best supermarkets are a drive away. The villa was clean and comfortable and perfect for bbqs and lazy pool days. It has everything you need and was lovely and cool inside. The pool has the sun all day. The villa suited the purpose of our stay perfectly.

Hi Naomi. So pleased that everything went well for you during your stay. Yes, a car is essential for shopping and the town and beaches. However, you can walk off the main road along the Old Portet Road to get to that bay or drop into town further along the main road. Thank you for your nice comments about the villa and the pool. My best wishes, Derek.
