I always stay in this property when I visit Antigua, because it is the best place. Perfect location, nice house, kind and helpful host.

I guess all my previous positive reviews, and the fact that I keep coming back to stay here says it all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Mrs Paul meet us with the keys, gave us a tour showed us how everything worked. The place was very clean and quiet and secure. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to see Antigua away from a hotel experience.

I just love this cottage. I have stayed here a few times by myself but on this occasion I had my friend and her two small children aged 4 and 5. It was perfect for kids, they had plenty of room to run around outside without any worries as the cottage is very secure with fencing all around. From the accommodation itself, to the area where it is located, checking in and out, I've never had any problems. It is a short walk to 1st Choice Supermarket and about a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach at Dickenson Bay but only 5 minutes if you have a car. I have always found the owners to be very accommodating and always on hand to offer help or advice if needed. I really can't recommend this place enough, it's just perfect and I hope to stay there again later this year :)

A pleasant stay for the second time. Mrs Paul the perfect host. Booking was quick and I was able to amend my check in/out times with ease. I would definitely recommend.

Best 2M of our lives! Beds are firm. All appliances we used worked. Hated honking the car horn to open gate but it works! The Paul's are the most awesome couple and were very helpful, friendly and the best neighbours ever! 5Min to Dickenson Bay. 3Min to Epicurean or 1st Choice (if that) or w/in walking distance to Billy's Market. We enjoyed waving to the locals on their way to work (yes, the cottage is on a busy road but how else do people get to work but walk or drive?) - so bring ear plugs if you feel threatened by road noise! And dogs - yep; they bark but they only bark when strangers come near their property - they are just protecting their territory! If you have pets at home you won't mind the dogs; if you don't - again - get ear plugs! But we did not find the dogs intrusive at all. View - was perfectly fine for us. People have complained about the "oil field" view. Yes, it's there - so plant the porch chair right in front of the porch post and then it blocks out the direct view of the oil refinery - but seriously - look beyond the open field of the oil refinery and you'll see the mountains - perfect mountains and the open field...as far as we were concerned we were not bothered at all by the oil refinery. The lights from St. John's at night were beautiful and in the mornings watching the cruise ships come in was very relaxing. The humming birds and other birds flitting about…quite lovely! Peek-a-boo views of the waterway where the cruise ships come in; and a peek-a-boo water view to the right (if you are sitting and looking out). Lot's of hangers for clothes, very happy with the washing machine and clothesline. Service for 4 (plates, mugs, bowls, silverware). Ltd. sm pots (for sauce making) but otherwise kitchen was equipped for our 2M stay. AC in both bedrooms (each w/ a dbl bed) two night stands in the front bdr; one nightstand in the back bdr. Great breeze with both front doors open and the back door open. College dorm size refridg. and sm. freezer which were sufficient for our needs. Gave 4 stars for facilities - specific the bathroom tub drain was not draining as fast as the shower water was flowing and I was constantly cleaning the 3" water mark from the tub from the standing water while showering. When using the washing machine the water would come up into the bathtub and we'd have to clean the tub again. Otherwise, there was NOTHING to complain about. It's an easy drive to Russells, LaBusolla's (has moved from Dickenson Bay over to the airport area), city of St. John - easy access to everything and in a great location! Truly an awesome cottage with awesome caretakers!

Great time again! The Villa has been re- decorated throughout with added facilities. New fridge freezer, with a good sized freezer compartment. New flat screen TV. New bedding/linen. Extra kitchen utensils. Another LARGE MIRROR IN SECOND BEDROOM! Which pleased my wife. Parking inside on the drive. If there's anything you need during your stay just ask! Mr & Mrs Paul are delightful, so kind and friendly. They helped us settle in and supplied extra items upon request. Any problems were solved as reported. Definitely need a car to explore. There are many "short cuts" to the beaches and other parts of the island, just study the map or ask! St John's does not have to be an obstacle for every trip! The two large, local supermarkets put some of ours to shame! Try to get the up to date Food and Drink book. Lists all the places to eat, see and visit! Often found in restaurants...Dennis's Bar near Jolly Beach and Chippy Antigua behind Coconut Grove Dickenson Bay may stock some. No sea views except from the far end of the balcony, but the sunsets! Great value for money! Dark wood Beach amazing for sunsets! Yours Martin Feb/March 2015

As previous reviews have stated, this rental is a great value for those looking for an alternative to a hotel stay on the island. It is a quintessential island cottage which really allows you to feel at home while away from home. The landscaping is immaculate, furnishings adequate and as we expected, and the property managers next door were a delight. We have a 1.5 year old and really appreciated the fenced-in yard. It's a great location close and convenient (by car) to St. John's, Dickenson Bay and other area beaches, Epicurean Grocery Store (and 2 others close by), movie theater, and other shopping. We particularly loved the front porch, the yard, the coastal breezes enjoyed when having the front & back doors of the cottage open, having a washing machine, and the location. Our only recommendation would be better internet access. My husband didn't have problems obtaining a strong signal with his laptop, but I had difficulty with my smartphone and tablet (iPhone & iPad). That was a bit of an inconvenience for me only because I needed to do some online work while on the island, but not enough to impact my stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
