We purchased the property in 2018 after a long search of many areas. We knew what we were looking for and finally we found it - the perfect villa in a perfect location.
The stunning views from Malaga to Almogia equalled with spectacular views from Almogia to Antequera passing El Torcal on the way. The villa has the ideal setting - a 7 acre plot with a winding walking path down to the valley floor. Don’t forget your walking shoes ! It is such a peaceful, tranquil location and just 4km from the white village of Almogia with many locally run shops and restaurants together with a well stocked mini supermarket. The modern, spacious flowing interior of the villa just delights
We enjoy all rooms. As we enjoy cooking, the kitchen is maybe our favourite because it is large, fully equipped with a centre island and sit-up bar. But there again the dining room and living room are maybe favourites with their large windows to the front garden. Or maybe the bedrooms for those perfect sleep nights. Sorry, can’t pick an overall winner :)
Relax and integrate with the peace and tranquility. Stroll amongst the olive trees. Hug a big tree trunk early in the morning and take in the fresh air. Venture out on foot either way from the villa and enjoy more mountainside stunning views. There is a pilgrims walking path that takes you across the mountainside to the village centre (45 minutes)
Enjoy the local in season fruits and vegetables. Oranges, lemons, limes, figs, grapes, avocados, melon, watermelon, tomatoes, olives and if you are lucky to be here at the right time help yourself to the fruits in the gardens.
Enjoy the local white villages of Almogia, casabermeja, Antequera.
Enjoy an evening meal at Almogia Bar El Coco, specialist for steaks or Posada de Almogia for a good selection of lunches or a 15 car journey to the village of Pastelero for excellent fish meals at Venta Paco. lunch and dinner. Opening times subject to season. And Don’t forget the villa rooftop terrace to grab that last hour of evening sunshine.
