Comfortable, well appointed, excellent location with wonderful views.
The property, Irish Mist, provided me and my wife with a very comfortable and relaxing holiday in Tinos. It is located within a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Tinos. It had a spacious veranda with spectacular views over the harbour and Aegean with the Island of Syros in the distance - amazing sunsets viewed from the veranda every evening. Jennie met us at the Ferry Port on our arrival brought us to the property and explained all the facilities; the "Welcome Pack" was very much appreciated especially the fresh fruit. She pointed out the location of nearby tavernas, shops, supermarkets etc. There were three tavernas/restaurants literally just across the road from the property. We hired a car from Vidalis who were very helpful and reasonably priced. This enabled us to explore many of the remote parts of Tinos and we found some wonderful secluded sandy beaches and many very quaint villages to explore on foot. The weather was excellent with blue sky every day and temperatures of 27-30C - the air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome. Tinos in mid September provided us with a very quiet and relaxing holiday with very friendly and helpful local population. Perfect for sight-seeing and just lounging about on the many beaches.

The house was very clean and convenient with a gorgeous view. Mary was so helpful in helping us to finalise our plans with the ferry and rental car. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again the next time I come to Tinos.

Spacious Seaside House with Superb Aegean View near the Beach

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mary’s apartment on the lovely island of Tinos. The apartment was very clean and accommodating for our family, WiFi was good for the kids. It is close to Tinos town and every night from the balcony we enjoyed the beautiful sunset 🌇 amazing!! Mary’s friend met us from the boat and was on hand if needed. Tinos is a wonderful island and swimming in the Aegean Sea was a delight (my favourite thing to do)!...that along with the wind I enjoyed very much.. Buses to villages/beaches are easy to get also cheap and car hire is useful to explore the secrets of the Island... The town at night is thriving with restaurants full of gastronomical delights. Truly an all-out Greek experience. 

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable sur l'île de Tinos, la maison est idéalement placée à moins de 5 min à pied d' une très belle plage. Il y a plein de jolies ballades à faire sur l'île, plein de charmants villages perchés dans les collines. La maison est très confortable, propre et l'accueil par Jenni et son mari etait tres sympathique.

Traditional Seaside House with Aegean View near the Beach

We enjoyed our stay in Tinos and especially this flat. Very comfortable, it offers a very nice balcony with a wonderful view (to watch the sunset) even when there is wind. The rooms are spacious, and AC is useful during summer. Linen, towels and all necessary upon arrival is provided. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and very close to the port and shops. Supermarket and bakery also very close. And the area is very quiet and peaceful! I would not have been elsewhere and we would love to come back again. Thanks Mary for everything and advices. Our preferred beach was Agios Romanos.

The house was absolutely amazing. It had everything we needed. The beach was a short walk away and the view from the terrace was relaxing and beautiful. The place was very clean and well kept. Our hosts were gracious and hospitable. The only thing I’d note is to be prepared to walk up many hills and stairs frequently. My mother in law had a bad hip and could not navigate the stairs alone. This is common throughout everywhere we travelled in Greece, especially the traditional villages and islands. Along with swimming in the picturesque waters and walking, you will stay or get in shape! We can’t wait to return.

Our holidays on Tinos were amazing. Beautiful house, stunning view from the veranda, nice people and delicious food. We enjoyed every single minute. Special thanks goes out to Babis and Jenny who were very helpful and had some good tips and recommendations. If you want to spend some relaxing holidays without any stress and just enjoy the beaches this is the perfect spot to do so.
