I cannot review this accomodation because we didn't stay there because we were taken to Lighthouse 13 without any explanation as to why it was changed. On leaving the appartment at the end of our holiday I asked again why we were put into Lighthouse 13 instead of Mermaid 37 the one I had booked, They still didn't give me a reason. Lighthouse 13 which we stayed in was a good size appartment with a balcony overlooking small well kept garden and the swimming pool, just a few feet away. The appartment was a bit tired with the plastic coating coming away from the cupboard doors and draws. The toilet seat was broken and had an 8 inch crack in the seat that had obviously been there some time judging by the colour of it. I would definately recommend the complex and I would also recommend the appartment if the problems mentioned above were put right. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Do not go here if you want to get any sleep. The beds are absolutely made of rock, they are so hard. The bedding consisted of a bottom sheet and then a thin cover which was not wide enough to cover two people using it on the double beds. It might be OK if there's just one of you using it. Also the bedroom curtains are thin and white, and let in all the light from the moment the sun is up. You might as well not have them closed! There is loud music playing on the beach next door until very late at night. On the plus side, this made our family all so uncomfortable that we were all actually looking forward to leaving at the end of our holiday. The property was clean except there was an ant infestation in the kitchen near the sink, where you would want to prepare food. Fortunately from previous experience staying at villas, we had brought ant bait traps and we were able to kill the nest within a few days. If you go here, do take some yourself! There seemed to have been no pre-arrival inspection by the owners/managers whatsoever. We spent a lot of our time reporting problems to them - the cupboard doors were hanging off in the kitchen and whilst we reported it and they actually repaired that quite quickly, but we were only there for a week and we didn't want to spend all our time checking the villa and reporting faults and chasing up on the repairs. The steps to the pool were broken and when we reported it they came to repair it very early one morning, banged on the steps loudly with a hammer and it didn't make any difference, so we just had to live with them broken, so that was a waste of time. The curtains in the lounge downstairs were actually nice and thick and kept out light. They should swap these over with the bedrooms. That would be easy to do, because they did regularly fly off the end of the curtain tracks, there being no end stoppers. The garden is much smaller than the photos make it appear. The furniture is not as in the pictures and was broken. The advert lists that there is a microwave in the villa - however when we arrived there was not one there. We queried this and were told they simply did not have enough to go around. I guess they just distribute the ones they have to people who complain. When I took the point that they had advertised there would be a microwave, and it was illegal to advertise a service and not provide it, they then reluctantly provided us with one. On a similar theme, were were not provided with enough towels. When you are next to the sea and have a private pool and communal pools, you can expect your visitors to want to lie on a towel on the sunbeds or beach, and to have a shower at least every day then want to dry themselves with a dry towel - and if they have hair, they will want to dry their hair too. You can't do that with one towel per person. After a couple of days we asked if we could please have any more towels because it was impossible, and we were quickly told that we would be provided with some. However, they did not arrive. We chased this up but they still did not arrive. We were only there for a week. It took us a couple of days trying to cope with the towels we had before asking if we could have more towels, then we waited a day or two and nothing, then we chased and waited again - at which point our holiday was nearly over. The window in the ensuite on the middle floor had no way of being held partially open. It was either closed or fully open so that the neighbours could see right into your shower. On the last day one of our party managed to prop it partly open but then it swung open when we closed a door and the window swung open smashing the window below with the handle. We reported this to them but it was our last day so we don't know if they fixed it. I suspect not. The most disappointing aspect was not the individual problems themselves, but the way they were handled. It seems that guests were expected to identify problems themselves, rather than arriving to a property that had already been checked thoroughly. We had to repeatedly follow up on issues and some concerns never received any response at all. A proper pre-arrival inspection and more proactive customer service would have made a significant difference to our experience. We wanted to spend our time relaxing, not running a poorly prepared property and managing the staff to ensure they did what they were supposed to have done in the first place and what they promised to do. This is a nice villa and it could be really lovely.

Had a great one week stay, 2 minor problems on arrival which were dealt with very quickly the following morning, great pool side apartment for 2 people (or 4 with sofa bed) would use again.

Pros Good location on Calis beach On site facilities : restaurant, bar, hammam, shop Clean and tidy villa and resort Close to regular buses and taxis into town Big villa, there were 10 of us Private pool Use of communal pool also Well stocked kitchen. There was sufficient cutlery, crockery, and saucepans There were some issues after arrival however, the Aqua lettings staff were extremely responsive Flexible with later check out. Cons Villa had not been checked before we arrived so there were initial blocked drains, faulty AC , not enough blankets (it was still cold at night) No essentials provided in kitchen (salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil) No roof terrace furniture Stairs do require a hand rail as can potentially be precarious for the elderly and children. Immersion tank was insufficient for 10ppl so this had to be managed or else some ppl had cold showers. On the whole the villa was perfect for our stay and we would return.

I was really unhappy when we had to stay in a different (inferior) apartment for the first 4 nights as Aqua Lettings had someone else in the apartment we had booked and paid for, this totally spoiled the start of our holiday. Once we moved to the correct apartment we were able to settle and enjoy our time at the resort. Some deep cleaning and maintenance is required in both of the apartments we stayed in, especially Lighthouse 17. Lighthouse 19 was a bit better but still not particularly good.

The property was lovely, we were two couples and it was perfect for us. Our own pool was cleaned every morning, it was so nice to have our own space. The support was amazing, we didn't have a safe so one was installed within 24 hours. Murat the owner was so helpful regarding the booking. My only wish would of been that there were some furniture on the top floor balcony for us to relax. We will definitely book again.

Apartment was lovely. Perfectly placed by the pool. Was promised cable tv, also promised firestick would work but neither happened. If you are Turkish then it won't be a problem but if you are English you only get 2 news channels and a music channel. Bit disappointed considering what we paid

Fantastic holiday staying that this modern, clean and well equipped villa. Road leading to villa is poor but work was being done at the time of our stay so this may improve.

there was quite a bit of damage to the jacuzzi bath, panel was hanging off, and leaked and flooded the bathroom. On check-in we only had 4 sets of bed sheets for a family of 5, and was told we had to wait till the next day!!!! All in all we had a good holiday, appartments were ok for the price we paid, £1000 ish for the week. but i wouldnt have paid more. Staff we ok, always seemed to be plenty of staff in and around the bar area. but at times had to wait for a drink. Staff could be more engaging with customers and try to make them feel welcome instead of chatting amongst themselves. Prices were ok for a hotel, but cheaper in town. my wife had the turkish bath and said it was amazing. All in all we had a good holiday, and would probably return to calis, but i would find somewhere else to stay.
