The Manor - Private villa with pool in old town Rethymno, Crete 

We loved staying at the Manor during our August holidays. The Manor is a real little paradise in the heart of the old town of Rethymno, where you feel at home. Everything is thought and designed to be charming, aesthetic and practical. The equipment is really on top. The necessities are also provided, which saves time on our arrival. In addition, many accessories: parasol, coolers, ice packs, pool / beach games were provided and we were very helpful. Also, many The welcome of Ageliki and William, then their help and reactivity throughout the stay, were perfect and very attentive: Suggestions for discoveries of the island, its beaches and taverns, weekly cleaning and other little attentions. The location of the Manor is ideal, it is very easy to park for free nearby, and it is directly in the center of the old town 2 steps from all amenities (restaurants, shopping, ...). The location of the city of Rethymnon is also a good compromise if you have a car, you can quickly travel to the south to visit its most beautiful beaches and you are halfway to Chania and Heraklion.

The Manor lives up to its name, it is roomy and luxurious and the hosts have put every thoughtful touch in place--it is very well provisioned. Ageliki's guide book was very helpful as there are so many options in the town in terms of shopping and dining. The pool was a big hit with our kids, including toys, and was actually even bigger than it looked in the pictures. We lounged on the outdoor bed where a family of four can even have a beverage reading in the shade. The Venetian architecture was apparent in the stone masonry work throughout, and the owners even provide a before-and-after photo album for the renovation. The location in the pedestrian zone is quiet and cozy, and the hosts helped us very kindly, meeting us with drop-off of the luggage and then even brought a cart to help us on our way out. We were so spoiled by Ageliki and William whose great taste and curatorial attention made our stay amazing!
