We have fallen in love with this lovely house and hope to come again next year. The house is by the river with beautiful views from the terraces every day, a short stroll to the water taxi to cross the river or to travel on the train. Welcoming local little taverna that delivers dinner of your choice to the the door or eating there [ we recommend the pork and orange - delicious ). We went as an extended family with two little boys ( 1 & 3 years] who loved playing in the gardens and pool . The adults enjoyed relaxing on the terraces with glass of wine. The location is stunning, we travelled up the Douro by boat to visit vine yard for wine tasting, by train for sight seeing, water taxi for lunch - so lots to choose from every day - thank you Bruno for your great hospitality
