Thoroghly enjoyed location but no free access to a pool. Beautiful house needs some additional kitchenware and cutlery. More bedlinen and towels would be nice. Also needs base protective sheets for mattresses.

Hello Brendan, thank you for the feedback and for your visit. We will deal with the small items now in readiness for the next guest. As regards the pool, we have made the point quite clearly on the site that guests have a choice of pools on the site but access is now unfortunately paid. We will look and see if we need to somehow emphasise this point in a different way on the site. We often use this property for winter rentals or long lets for people who do not need a pool, and the cost of the pool per annum, for us, is around €6,000, which you will understand makes little sense so we have made the cost more competitive to allow people to choose between the central pool, or one of the smaller local ones. The resort offers packages per week or month and per family, which make it quite competitive. If you prefer to use the beach then the odd day can be bought on an as/required basis. Best regards

W e had. Lovely holiday and the apartment was great. It was September so the complex was quiet not sure what it would be like in high season most days we had the pool entirely to ourselves. The apartment had fabulous views and was close to the beach. It was well equipped although very annoyingly we were told on arrival that the oven was broken it was taken for repair that day but was not replaced until the day we left so we had no cooker - exactly the same problem we had with a previous apartment in Portugal - very disappointing. More annoying though was the front door lock mechanism. I got locked out twice and although my husband eventually was able to master the tricky technique of opening the thing Niether I nor my 2 adult children managed it so my husband had to be at the apartment to let us in every time we went out. On the first occasion I called the agent who called me back after about an hour but by then my husband had let me in. If you can manage to get into the apartment block it's a great flat!

Hi Colette. Thanks for the feedback and comments. Glad to hear you have had a nice holiday. The oven got longer to repair than we had anticipated. Those things are hard to control as we are dependent from the technicians and material availability but the oven got repaired and it´s working 100%. The same with the entrance door to the apartment. The lock got replaced by a new lock system. We haven´t had any more issues with the recent tenants. Rui

We had a great stay at the property. Location was great - a couple of minutes to the beach and several bars close by. 20 minute walk to the Marina of Lagos, which we did several times. Property was exactly as described. It was perfect and very spacious for a family of 5. Everyone had their own space. We had one unfortunate incident with the door lock, but this was resolved very efficiently by the management team out there, so I'm confident that if anyone ever encounters a problem they would be dealt with in the correct manner.

Hello Robert. Thank you so much for your nice comment. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay at the apartment as well as in Lagos and the overall experience was good, even with the lock incident. I was very glad to meet you all and hope we can meet again in the future. Regards to your family. Cheers. Rui

Enjoyed the apartment very much and we would love to return in the future. A very pleasant living and sleeping space. The kitchen had lots of useful utensils and was stocked well with extra useful things such as freezer bags for days at the beach. We thought the apartment was in a good location. 2 mins to train station and nearby supermarket. 5 mins walk down to the main square with the water fountains. There is a café below, which is ran by two friendly ladies. There can be some noise from below but did not disturb put children. All in all, a great first stay in Tavira! Will be back again.

The accommodations exceeded my expectations. I've been to the Algarve numerous times, with Tavira as one of my wife's and I favourite places. And, I must say, the spec of the apartment we rented is first rate. Modern, extremely well decorated and plenty of light coming from the French windows. Located at the corner of a traditional Portuguese square with water fountains made it extra charming. The convenience of being 2 min walking distance from the town centre and restaurants made it really convenient. It might have been a bit pricier than other places that we've stayed at, but you'll understand why when you walk in the apartment.
