I must first of all say that Rudi, the agent was very good to us and looked after us well. I do however have a few negative comments about the villa itself. Some of the items that I brought up while there were rectified by Rudi very quickly like the Aircon not working in one of the bedrooms and there only being 6 sunbeds for a party of 7. I didn't want to spoil my holiday consistently moaning about all the other inadequacies though.
The main problem with the villa was that advert described the town as being less than 15 minutes walk away. This is clearly not true. It is at least 45 minutes to walk there which is down hill. If you wanted to walk back i'm sure it would take at least 90 mins (if you were fit enough!). It was a 10 minute drive in a taxi!! Luckily a taxi was only 25TL each way (about £3 at the exchange rate when we went) There is no mention of the very steep hills near the villa. The villa is definitely not suitable for the elderly, very young, children in push chairs or anyone who is not very fit!
The main picture of the outside is completely misleading. The large pool has been completely changed. In its place is a small pool with a separate small shallow pool less than a foot deep and a jacuzzi (with 4 very weak jets) that worked intermittently throughout our stay. We asked for this to be looked at but it never seemed to work when we wanted to use it. The pictures of the outside of the villa also show trees and greenery, there is now just one tree and a two pots with weeds growing in them. The outside area looked nothing like the pictures and looked rather spartan. The pizza style barbecue shown in the picture is no longer there and it has been replaced with a very basic, quite difficult to use barbeque. We only bothered trying to cook on it once.
The advert describes the kitchen as luxury and well equipped. It is neither. There is no microwave and the oven is a very small counter top oven, totally unsuitable to cook for 8 people that could possibly stay in the villa. There wasn't even a bottle opener or any sharp knives.
The advert also describes a utility room- I can tell you there is no utility room.
The entrance to the villa (not shown in the pictures) Is an absolute disgrace and looks like a building site. Totally unfinished with old mattresses and other items of disused furniture dumped underneath. There are trip hazards and pallets strewn everywhere. Once inside the villa and even when sitting in the outside areas you don't see this but when you first pull up at the villa it is quite shocking to see when you have paid a lot of money to stay there.
The villa in general is looking very tired and the finishing of the work is terrible.
All in all I was very disappointed with the villa for what I paid (£2400 for 12 nights)
Positives are; great view, the service from Rudi and his lovely wife.
