It's our second time staying at The Croft and it was as wonderful as the first time. Cathy is a lovely host, the house very comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. Our main aim was to find somewhere with a secure garden for our dog to run around in and The Croft has a great enclosed garden which she loved. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Rothbury is a lovely village in a beautiful part of Northumberland. The view from the Croft is breathtaking - looking down on the church and south towards the hillsides that glow as the sun dips. One of our top picks and hopefully we’ll be back. Thanks, Cathy.

We were lucky to have great weather for most of the week including early mornings and evenings when we enjoyed the highlight of The Croft, the terrace and its views, perfection!! Very well appointed, lovely big rooms and the owner Cathy is a delightful lady. We love Rothbury, it’s our third visit in four years, good restaurants, pubs, takeaways shops and walks. Conveniently located to explore Northumberland. We will be back!!

The house is a beautiful home from home in a great area with easy access to the national park as well as the coast. We had a wonderful time, the garden was completely dog friendly and the welcome pack was a lovely touch.

Lovely place to stay. Cath (owner)is very welcoming. Central for visiting other towns, plenty of walking Would certainly recommend this accomodation

The welcome could not have been warmer nor the house more comfortable or better appointed. This was not our first visit nor our last.

A lovely place to stay with fabulous views and a friendly and helpful owner living next door. Well equipped , warm and a true home from home. I almost hesitated to give 5 stars as selfishly I don't want everyone to be booking this wonderful holiday home! Some people might find the steep drive a challenge but we both had good sized cars and managed fine, although I wouldn't want to do it in icey conditions.. I'd leave the car at the top! We will definitely return.

We had a fabulous few days at the Croft. An elegant property with plenty of space, elevated views, comfortable beds, everything you need. We were sad to leave and hope to return again one day!
