An ideal holiday. Perfect apartment for us, the nicest we've stayed in during this and previous travels in Sicily. The owner, Signor Giuseppe was very friendly and sincere in wanting to check that everything was just right for us. Giuseppe even managed to understand my poor Italian. He met us at his bar/café so our check in was easy, as was our checking out. And his granita was the best we tasted in Sicily. The village was beautiful and the restaurants that Giuseppe recommended were ideal. We will recommend the owner, the apartment and the location to friends. Una vacanza ideale. Giuseppe, or Pino, is the most gracious host, and I have never seen him without a huge smile on his face (and he makes delicious gelato at his bar in town). He is very proud of his beautiful spot, and rightly so it is like a magical eagles nest perched on the side of the mountain. It is gorgeous in every light, at every time of day we came in autumn, and could see the Aeolian Islands from the terrace. Our only problem was that we could scarcely sleep because we kept waking up to look at the view. Pino went very far out of his way to accommodate our needs a friend joined me last minute at this very small place with one bed, and he seemed to enjoy the challenge of figuring out where she could sleep. The house is tiny but it is beautifully arranged and we had everything we needed. The beaches in this area are quite rocky I only wish we had brought some old sneakers to go swimming in but the water is glorious. We will be coming back, as well as all of our friends. September 2013 We really enjoyed our stay in the house of Giuseppe. It is just as beautiful as in the pictures. The view of the sea is amazing, the kitchen is well equipped, there is large terrace with an outside shower, and it is really peaceful. Giuseppe was a great host. He welcomed us at his family owned bar in Castel di Tusca with homemade icecream, gave us tips about restaurants & supermarkets and brought over some handpicked apricots and vigs from his mothers land. This made us feel really welcome and we highly recommend the place. June 2013 We had the most fantastic week at Giuseppes place and we would never choose another place to stay if we visit Sicily again. If we could give more than 5 stars - we would do it!!! From the cosy stone house we had a perfect view of the sea - and every morning we could enjoy our delicious breakfast while looking at the stunning view! The house and the garden surrounding it is so beautiful and we could even pick lemons from the trees. Around the house it was always possible to find a great place for sunbathing! If you are looking for a romantic get away you wont find any place better than this! Giuseppe is the perfect host and was very nice and welcoming and our late check-in was no problem! He even had a little surprise ready for us the first evening - but to find out what that is - you need to go! ) Giuseppe also helped us find great local restaurants and attractions and it was so nice to visit him at his local Snack Bar - that serves the best italian icecream and cakes!

Prachtig design en schoon appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien, met dakterras, goed bed en luxe douche en Giuseppe als voorbeeldige gastheer. Weliswaar aan de doorgaande weg gelegen maar van echte geluidshinder is geen sprake. Groot voordeel is de directe ligging in het dorp met zijn restaurantjes, barretjes, stationnetje en kiezelstrand. Supermarktje op 200 meter loopafstand. Uitstekend verblijf!
