If you haven't been to Villa Vida Nova....go,....go now!

★★★★★ The location is stunning, views amazing! I don't think there are enough words to describe Villa Vida Nova. It is an amazing place, the house , the gardens, the views and the pool. We stayed for 1 week and it wasn't long enough. The house is exactly as you see in the photos, completely equipped for all your needs. kitchen is fully stocked and I love that there was ware for both inside and outside use. We loved eating out on the covered patio. The weather was beautiful so we made full use of the pool. The location is stunning, views amazing. I would definitely recommend a car as it is too far to walk to village or supermarkets but it's only a 5-7 min drive. There is a lovely square to have coffee and pastries and everyone is very friendly. The quality of local restaurants is top class and most favourite is Luar da Fóia at the top of the road. Very busy so I'd recommend booking in advance. Nigel was a superb host, very quick to respond and very knowledgeable about the area and advise where to go. Check in was effortless. This was my second stay at Vida Nova. The Villa is very comfortable and has everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The views are absolutely stunning!! It is just a short drive to coastal towns and amazing restaurants. Nigel and Bev are kind and considerate hosts who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was fabulous. Looking forward to returning. Amazing Villa. I spent 2 weeks in March at this amazing Villa. I did not want to leave. The pictures do NOT do this place justice and the views are post card worthy. Driving the back roads to get here allowed for some breath taking views. This part of Portugal is slower paced and a wonderful place to relax and explore the beautiful beaches and cuisine. Nigel and Beverly go above and beyond as hosts and make you feel right at home. So much information is provided with suggestions of where to visit and where to eat you cannot go wrong with any of the recommendations. I am looking forward to returning in the future if only to hang out in the amazing pool.

Villa is Super Clean and Extremely Well Maintained. I had the good fortune of staying at this beautiful Villa for 10 weeks. The Villa is well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The location is perfect for site seeing as it is close to the major highways to get to so many amazing places within an hour. The beach is just a few minutes up the road with some great restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. I cannot say enough about the hosts, Nigel and Beverly, they have thought of everything and have provided a wealth of information to make you feel right at home and ready to explore. Nigel is quick to respond if you have a question or to offer some great advice on where to visit. The Villa is super clean and extremely well maintained.

A home away from home. My husband and I stayed at the Villa for 2 weeks at the beginning of March. Upon arrival I knew this place was special, the scent of orange blossoms, how the villa was tucked away on a beautiful property with idyllic views overlooking the hills and the ocean in the far distance. The villa itself was spacious, very clean and well appointed with everything we needed, we made a lot of our meals here and took full advantage of the outdoor grill. The patio area was lovely and I even swam in the pool a few times, such a relaxing way to spend a quiet afternoon. We were looking for a place that provided privacy and the villa provided on all levels offering us a sanctuary to restore and to explore. Great local restaurants, thanks to Nigel’s recommendations, we tried out a few. Nigel is a wonderful host from the time we booked the Villa to our departure. The town of Monchique provides all amenities, a sweet spot to sit in the square to have a coffee or enjoy many of the delicious pastries at the local cafes. From the Villa we walked up to VillaFoia which was lovely and enjoyed a few Yoga classes while there. We took time to explore the West coast on Nigel’s recommendations and so glad we did, well worth taking the day to check out the Atlantic side and the authentic charm of smaller Portuguese villages. The Villa was a great home base for us as we explored a lot of the Algarve. From making fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning, watching the sun rise, picking lemons, appreciating the natural beauty, we highly recommend Villa Vida Nova . Villa Vida Nova is beautiful. Fantastic views, and wonderfully appointed. We spent an ultra relaxing month there in October, November last year. Our favorite restaurant was the 'Foia' at the top of the driveway on the main road. We love the west Coast and the 30 minute drive was no hardship as the drive itself is through lovely scenery...with almost no traffic...bliss! Our hosts Nigel and Bev are without doubt the best owner/mangers we have ever delt with, and we have been Villa users for 25 years. Extremely prompt and efficient in every regard, and literally nothing is too much trouble. Having that reassurance really does have an impact on peace of mind and therefore ultimately the enjoyment of your stay. We will without doubt be returning to the magnificent Vida Nova.

★★★★★ Perfect for our vacation! We stayed here for a week in October 2024 and found the villa perfect for our vacation. Three double bedrooms with en suite’s, great sized lounge, kitchen and dining area. Externally there is a solar heated pool with loungers, a place to dine and secure car parking. Everything was very clean and the villa which looks like a recent build had been finished and furnished to a very high standard. The location is an up and coming place in Portugal. There’s a beach a five minute drive away, a local cafe and restaurant. We are looking forward to visiting again - highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Would Highly Recommend! Wonderful villa in a splendid location with extensive views. Clean, spacious and well equipped, we spent most of our time inside due to bad weather and we were grateful of the comfortable sofas and bed. Fabulous restaurants within a short distance away our favourite being Luar de Foia at the top of the road. Excellent communication with the owners and good directions from the airport.
