If you haven't been to Villa Vida Nova....go,....go now!

★★★★★ We, seriously, could not find any fault! Stayed for two weeks with another couple. The quality of the furnishings and equipment are second to none. Towels, linen all supplied and good quality. The housekeeper, I forget her name, cleans like a Trojan and is friendly as well. Pool was always clean, bbq area perfect, very private, and spectacular views both day and night. The town is in walking distance or a two minute drive with everything you need and Nigel gave us discount vouchers for four excellent restaurants, we tried three and used the vouchers again at the one at the top of the road. All in all one of the best rentals we have stayed in, we are looking to book again next year as we were offered a loyalty discount. Gwyn Williams 01 May 2026

★★★★★ What an amazing property! We stayed at this villa for a week July 2025- 2 adults and 2 teens. Booking experience was great and Nigel sent lots of helpful info. What an amazing property. The view from the garden and infinity pool alone was worth the booking. All set in a beautiful cork oak forest. The roads to the property are windy and steep - but the cooler mountain breeze and stunning scenery are worth it. The villa has everything you need - comfy beds, pool towels, decent sized fridge freezer, outdoor furniture inc sun loungers, off-road parking.The nearby supermarket is well stocked.We did a few trips - a boat trip to see the Benagil Caves and dolphins, a beach trip to Praia de Odeceixe, a water park trip and a zoo trip, All good- and then lovely to get back to our quiet haven. Whilst the stair case is grand may be a challenge for small children and less mobile adults but there is a downstairs bedroom. Easy to find and within 70 minutes of Faro airport. ★★★★★ The location is stunning, views amazing! I don't think there are enough words to describe Villa Vida Nova. It is an amazing place, the house , the gardens, the views and the pool. We stayed for 1 week and it wasn't long enough. The house is exactly as you see in the photos, completely equipped for all your needs. kitchen is fully stocked and I love that there was ware for both inside and outside use. We loved eating out on the covered patio. The weather was beautiful so we made full use of the pool. The location is stunning, views amazing. I would definitely recommend a car as it is too far to walk to village or supermarkets but it's only a 5-7 min drive. There is a lovely square to have coffee and pastries and everyone is very friendly. The quality of local restaurants is top class and most favourite is Luar da Fóia at the top of the road. Very busy so I'd recommend booking in advance. Nigel was a superb host, very quick to respond and very knowledgeable about the area and advise where to go. Check in was effortless. This was my second stay at Vida Nova. The Villa is very comfortable and has everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The views are absolutely stunning!! It is just a short drive to coastal towns and amazing restaurants. Nigel and Bev are kind and considerate hosts who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was fabulous. Looking forward to returning. Amazing Villa. I spent 2 weeks in March at this amazing Villa. I did not want to leave. The pictures do NOT do this place justice and the views are post card worthy. Driving the back roads to get here allowed for some breath taking views. This part of Portugal is slower paced and a wonderful place to relax and explore the beautiful beaches and cuisine. Nigel and Beverly go above and beyond as hosts and make you feel right at home. So much information is provided with suggestions of where to visit and where to eat you cannot go wrong with any of the recommendations. I am looking forward to returning in the future if only to hang out in the amazing pool.
