I have been going to Koh Samui for the last 10 years and know the island very well.The apartment I rented for 2 weeks was exactly as described and as it seems to be newly built in very good decorative order.The check in was fast and friendly as was when I checked out,(which was a lot later than Hotels,the owner Peter is very flexible).The complex is very secure and the pool is immaculate.I would not hesitate to rebook Samui Emerald and probably will.

wonderful relaxing retreat 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 30 October 2012Date of Stay: October 2012 We stayed at Villa Katherine for 1 week after a weeks cycling in Thailand. It was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. The house was immaculate and everything the description said it was. The pool was great for the kids with plenty towels available. The pool area has a nice bar area with fridge and speakers fed from the Denon music system which we found very relaxing. All the fitting were top quality and we were pleasantly surprised at the complete lack of insects inside the property, quite an achievement for a tropical climate. The location is very central to Bophut, Big Buddha and Chamong beaches and only 10 mins from Chaweng. John, the manager made the booking and arrival process so easy for us even arranging airport pickup (only 5 mins away) and also organizing car hire for us. We will definitely be returning and recommending this house to our friends David & Roisin

Amazing Villa, Amazing Location, Amazing Holiday 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 01 November 2012Date of Stay: April 2012 I stayed here in April along with 5 other friends and this villa ticked all the right boxes. It is a stunning clean modern new build, decorated to the highest standard, each room has its own bathroom c/w shower, air conditioning and plenty wardrobe space. It also features a large living/dining area with fridge freezer etc so you can eat in or just stock the fridge up with plenty of water/drinks and snacks. They pool also is ideal for lounging around on lazy days with comfortable loungers and a small fridge and pool bar area. The location of the villa is just a short 5 min taxi ride away from the main city centre which we ventured to most nights where you will find plenty of choices for places to eat and drink, there is also loads of shops/market stalls and beauty parlors/spas which you must try. The villa is just a stones throw away from a few local supermarkets and local fresh fruit stalls scattered along the road all within walkable distance from the villa. All in all this villa is the perfect size for a large family/group away and is very central to most local attractions, I would very much recommend to stay here.

Staying in this villa most definitely contributed to that. The Villa itself was beautiful and spotless and had everything and more in it – everything from laundry, to entertainment, to relaxing, to catering was covered – it actually made you want to stay in. Location is perfect also – you are 10 mins max in a taxi to the main area of Chaweng. Closer to that though you have Bophut and Big Buddha – which Is a must see. Also close by is Chamong Beaches – paradise on your doorstep ! I cannot wait for my next trip back to Koh Samui and to this Villa – I would not hesitate in recommending this villa to friends and family and anyone else ooking for the perfect accommodation for their trip. First Class 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 20 November 2012Date of Stay: April 2012 I stayed in the villa back in April with a group of friends and it was honestly the best holiday ive had to date. Looking at the pictures prior to arrival, I/we knew it was going to be nice, but it is actually even so much more nicer when you see it with your own eyes. Absolutely every aspect of this villa is perfect - the pool area is fantastic, a great sized pool and lovely outside sitting area and very comfortable sun loungers. The decor inside the house itself really is lovely and its obvious great time and care was taken to choose everything. The 3 bedrooms are all beautifully kitted out and the view from the master bedroom is a great way to wake up each morning. The location of the villa is ideal - 5-10 mins from the beach, and approx 15 mins from the main area of Chaweng. I have known people who have frequented Koh Samui for a number of years now and after visiting myself i totally see why people come back year after year, im only disappointed that i never caught onto it myself sooner! I will most definately be back, and without question my first stop for accomodation will be this villa, i really cant say enough good things about it.
