We made a mistake choosing Apartment 11; it gets zero sunshine except for 45 minutes on the balcony as the sun was setting. The result was the apartment was continually cold ( not helped by the unusually cold weather in our 2nd week). The heating module of the air conditioning was ineffective. The apartment itself needs some maintenance; as an example, the bottom of the door to the en-suite bathroom is rotting. We’ve previously spent time in two separate apartments in Palheiro Village, both of which had balconies with sea views, were sunny and were very well maintained. This made our experience in Apartment 11 all the more disappointing.

A wonderful family holiday in an exceptional villa.

Agent held booking for us, and then declined, an alternative property was offered however more expensive After agreeing a Noon checkin, the agent turned up 35 mins late, saying they had another booking, and normal checkin is 4 PM. Agreed to meet us at 0900 hrs on departure, no show, and we left at 0850 Hrs as taxi arrived, and we had a plane to catch. Advert says a hairdryer available, NONE, and whilst an iron, no ironing board, had to chase up for two days whilst on holiday. There is no dishwasher as outlined in the advert. OVERALL a very UN PROFESSIONAL advertisement, inaccuracies, and poor support, It is not worth the money we paid for it

The advert does not do this property any justice, it is much better in the flesh. The villa just needs some TLC and modernising to make it a 5*. The view is spectacular.
