Beautiful gardens, BBQ and pool area. Comfortable inside with plenty of room. Lovely welcome hamper of food & drinks. Very nice & friendly owner. Much appreciated late check out. Only downside - a bit close to main road & nothing in walking distance.

Recently stayed here with my wife and two young children and it was just fantastic. The villa had everything you needed , filtered water, fresh fruit, coffee, all the condiments plus Nikos did a lovely welcome hamper with fresh cheeses and meats. Lots of fruit trees around the grounds with fresh lemons and eggs from the chicken pen was a nice touch . Plenty of shaded areas and out door sound system for when lounging around the pool area. Would definitely return.

We have just returned from a relaxing weeks break here. Such a lovely property with lots of well thought facilities such as the filter water and outdoor speaker system. Very comfortable stay and very secluded which is what we were after! Car hire is recommended however there are good taxi firms - advisable to book trips in advance if you can. Fruit and eggs are available around the house which is a lovely touch. Will be booking again!

We were a little surprised at the location to start with as the area was more built up than we expected. Although this is good for exploring near by places such as Rhodes Old Town. However, once you are inside the grounds of the property, you soon forget about the surrounding area. The gardens, olive groves, vegetable garden and outside facilities are wonderful. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. We are a family of 3 and we spent a very relaxing week here for our honeymoon. Our 18 month old daughter loved it. The pool and the shaded area around the pool are perfect for keeping cool on a hot sunny day. Nikos, the owner was very friendly and helpful and he supplied a delicious hamper and platter of food on our arrival, along with fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs during our stay. We were very comfy and quite happy to not leave the house some days. We will hopefully be back one day.

Nikos house is a little paradise - really like in the pictures on the web site- located in a completely unexpected area ( which is definately also to be explored) . The house is full of charm, well equipped and the garden fantastic. Picking up organic salad and peppers fresh from the garden was a so handy and eating them a real pleasure! As we are over 40 we must admit our bed/ mattress could have been a bit better as we had a bit of sore back each morning... For our boys ( of course we not there at the very hot season) a little football ground would have been more than welcome ( maybe nikos can arrange one ?) but they did enjoy the swimming pool and the picking up of the eggs and feeding the hens a lot. We had a real nice stay and are ready for the Belgian winter now !

Wir - zwei befreundete Ehepaare im Alter zwischen 40 und 50 - waren im September / Oktober 2013 im Myrthia House. Das Haus ist sehr, sehr hübsch, innen wie außen. Die Fotos sind realistisch, nicht übertrieben wie in anderen Anzeigen. Beim Start unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir gleich toll überrascht: nach unkonventionellem, reibungslosen Check-In (Schlüssel im Stromkasten, wie auch beim Check-Out) - ein WOW Effekt: frische Blumen im ganzen Haus, auch in den Bädern, und kulinarische Willkommensgrüße: Gastfreundschaft pur!!! Wir haben im Anschluss das ganze Haus besichtigt, uns dann gleich super wohl gefühlt und der Urlaub hat gut begonnen! Im Vorfeld gab es Email-Kontakt zu Gudrun, die Kommunikation hat sehr gut geklappt. Bei einem technischen Problem vor Ort reichte ein kurzer Anruf bei Nikos und das Problem war gelöst. Im Haus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt: Grundausstattung an Haushaltsartikeln, Lebensmitteln, Elektrogeräten (Espresso-Maschine- klasse!), viele liebevollen Kleinigkeiten und ..... waren vorhanden. Tipp: auf der "mittleren" Terrasse unbedingt den Grill nutzen! Funktioniert prima, im Ort gibt es Prima-Metzger mit leckeren Fleisch und Wurstwaren. Fisch kann man in Rhodos (Flyer vom Fischgeschäfts im Wohnzimmer). Die Lokale im Ort sind auch sehr gut und nicht zu teuer. Einen Mietwagen die ganze Zeit zu nehmen, empfiehlt sich. Zu Fuß an´s Meer und zu einem größeren Einkauf ist es weit. Die Lage in der alten Gasse ist heimelig - es passt maximal eine Vespa mit einem kleinem Anhänger durch. Dadurch ist es leise, man hört fast nur Unterhaltungen der Anwohner. Parken kann schwierig sein, wenn die Nachbarn ganz vorne an der Straßenecke 3 oder mehr Parkplätze mit "Eimern" reservieren oder als Privatparkplätze deklarieren. Nach Rhodos Stadt ist es mit dem Auto nur ein Katzensprung, zum Einkaufen und Bummeln ideal. Unser aller Eindruck: die Beschreibung in der Anzeige hat gepasst und wir werden - haben schon - das Myrthia Haus wärmstens weiterempfohlen.

Well, words cant describe the Olive house. Ill try :-) Wonderful location, close to the airport, Rhodes town and Faliraki. Nikos, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival beers and soft drinks in the fridge, a salad made by the mother of Nikos, a very warm welcome, just like youre visiting friends or family. Everything you need in the house is there, great. Extra is the fact that in the garden you can pick all kinds of herbs to make a cocktail, give some extra flavour to your (bbq) meal or whatever. The owner takes great care of the property, cleans the pool regularly, there is a sound and lightning system on the terrace, its really wonderful and so relaxed. We stayed there with 4 persons and they were all astonished about everything regarding the house. We have been in paradise for two weeks. A big thanks to Nikos, his mother, his son and Gudrun for a perfect vacation.
